Sir von Lego over on Eurobricks have revealed the set names for the 2014 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Man sets. They have also given a bit more detail on what we should expect next year. I have also included details that we’ve already reported on.

LEGO Star Wars Classic Games Mobile Release Revealed

Jedi News is reporting that attendees of the European Brand Licensing Show were given a brochure that shows Disney’s plan for Star Wars for the next few years. What interests us the most is the revealing of Classic LEGO Games Mobile in Spring/Summer 2014. There’s no more details at this time but we’ll be reporting on it as soon as it becomes available.

Star Wars Mobile LEGO games following on from successful app releases of the Batman and Harry Potter platform ports. Coming in Spring / Summer 2014.

There are some other Disney/Star Wars listed worth mentioning if you’re a Star Wars fan including Darth Vader Themed TV Specials also coming out in Spring/Summer 2014. In the Autumn/Winter 2014 months, we’ll be seeing the new Star Wars Rebels one-hour special on Disney Channel and the series on Disney XD. There is also a Phineas & Ferb Star Wars special around that time as well. This all culminates with the theater release of Star Wars Episode VII in the Spring/Summer of 2015.

Toys R Us LEGO Star Wars 3-in-1 Super Pack (6070663)

LEGO Star Wars Super Pack 3 in 1 (6070663)

There is a new LEGO Star Wars 3-in-1 Super Pack (6070663) found at Toys R Us online as well as in stores. The Super Pack goes for $139.99 and has three sets from this year’s releases including the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid (75015), the Homing Spider Droid (75016), and the AT-TE (75019).

The prices no different than if you bought the sets separately from Shop@Home. By buying the Super Pack, you would only be saving a measly 2 cents. If you buy the sets from LEGO, you can get much more for your money with the promotions they are having such as the FREE Clone Trooper Lieutenant minifigure polybag and Double VIP points for the month. If you buy the sets from October 14-31, you can get the FREE Holiday set (40082) as well. Unless you want a big, I would go with LEGO’s offerings.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2014 Set Details

A few weeks ago, we did a post on what some of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets could be. Today, Kris Kelvin over at Eurobricks has gotten to see some blurry images of the 2014 Marvel sets and have given some descriptions on what we can kind of expect in the future sets. These are stated to be released in March 2014. The user also listed the DC Universe Super Heroes sets and you can read more there as well. We’ve also done a post with some descriptions of the DC sets.

Update: There are also some pricing listed for the sets from the user. They are in Polish Zloty but I’ve converted them to Euros. Since US pricing is somewhat based on Euro prices, we can approximate what they would cost here in the States.

Spider-Man

I’m going to venture a guess that the 2014 Spider-Man sets will be based on the Ultimate Spider-Man animated TV series similar to last year’s sets.

76014 – Spider-Man riding some sort of “tricycle” and another minifigure with a green torso, yellow hands, and yellow legs. I’m going to guess that the other minifig is Electro. – ~$17

76015 – Includes Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, another minifigure, and a car. Hopefully we get a Doc Ock variant and not the same one as in the Doc Ock Ambush (6873). – ~$24

76016 – Includes a flying vehicle with two rotors, Spider-Man, and a brick-build figure. The vehicle could be the Spider Copter and the brick-built figure could be … Continue

LEGO Star Wars UCS Slave I in 2014?

Rumors have starting swirling about a new LEGO Star Wars UCS set that may be coming out in 2014. Over on Eurobricks, members mentioned that the newest Ultimate Collector’s Series set could be the Slave I. If Slave I was to come out in 2014, my guess is that it could be during LEGO’s “May the 4th Be With You” promotions since the company has released various UCS sets around that time including the R2-D2 (10225) in 2012 and the Red Five X-wing Starfighter (10240) from this year.

LEGO has released quite a few versions of the Slave I including some oddball sets such as the MINI version during Star Wars Celebration VI. There have been many memorable Star Wars vehicles that have become UCS sets but one of the most iconic ships hasn’t been featured yet. Maybe 2014 will be the time for the Slave I to make it’s mark as an Ultimate Collector’s Series set.

LEGO Architecture Marina Bay Sands (21021) Revealed

The next set in the LEGO Architecture series has been revealed on their online survey site, the Marina Bay Sands (21021). Back in August, we reported that the resort in Singapore won the annual LEGO “Vote & Inspire Us” poll and would be the next Architecture set that will be released. The world’s most expensive standalone casino property also features a hotel, a shopping mall, a museum, two theaters, an ice skating rink, and seven celebrity chef restaurants. The Marina Bay Sands will probably be available late this year or early next year.
