LEGO Ninjago 2014 Set Names Leaked?

LEGO Ninjago 2014?

Back in December of last year, we reported that Ninjago will be coming back in 2014 after a year off when the tv series ended. Kockamania is reporting that Ninjago may be coming back sooner than expected, as soon as December of this year. They also list a number of sets that will be released in that wave in Hungarian language. The sets listed are not the final names but are just translated into English. From the preview image above, you can see that Zane is more robotic looking so there’s rumors that the next wave of sets will be more mechanical and more robotic looking. If this information is true, what do you think of these sets just from their names?

LEGO Inside Tour 2013 Exclusive Set – Villy Thomsen Truck (4000008)

LEGO Inside Tour 2013 - Villy Thomsen Truck (4000008)

Every year, LEGO hosts an “Inside Tour” for guests in Billund, Denmark to let fans experience what goes on at the factories and exclusive LEGO sets are given away to individuals as a parting gift. This year, attendees will be receiving the Villy Thomsen Truck (4000008) as their going away gift. The truck was a very important truck back in the 1950’s because it was the first truck to transport LEGO products between cities. The instructions on LEGO’s site have been taken down but luckily, The Daily Brick has them up on their site if you want to build your own. If you’re interested in going to the LEGO Inside Tour for 2014, check out the site for more details on how you can attend next year’s tour.

Help Beyond the Brick Go To Brickworld Chicago 2013

Joshua Hanlon and Matthew Kay have been hosting Beyond the Brick podcast/videos for more than a year. The team would like to go to Brickworld Chicago 2013 and record some great footage to be released on a DVD in the future. They have set up a Kickstarter project and need your support to help fund their journey to Chicago. The money raised in the project will provide better equipment to take to Brickworld, supplies for the DVD, and rewards that are offered for supporting the project. There are lots of things included in the DVD:

  • Over 90 minutes of high quality edited content
  • Convention floor builder interviews
  • Guided tour of the displays at Brickworld Chicago
  • Creative LEGO building technique ideas from some of the world’s top builders
  • Video inside Brickworld Chicago events
  • Discussions with builders about how they prepare and set up for Brickworld Chicago
  • Anything else that catches our eye at the convention

The DVD won’t be available after the Brickworld Chicago 2013 and will only be available for supporters of the Kickstarter. As of this writing, they are already more than halfway to their goal of $500 with 28 days left until the project ends. The more money that is sent, the better quality of content Beyond the Brick will be able to provide. So if you’re interested in helping out the team, head over to Kickstarter and show your support.
