LEGO has recently released the latest LEGO Seasonal set of the year with the Painting Easter Eggs (40121) set. For 2015, LEGO has changed their format of the sets to a vignette-type set which started with the Valentine’s Day Dinner (40120). For the Easter set, it has 153 pieces and retails for $9.99. The box contains three unnumbered bags and an instructions booklet.

New Image of LEGO Seasonal Easter Set (40121)

Brickset has posted a clearer image of the box art for the upcoming LEGO Seasonal Easter set (40121). We first saw this set on the back of the instructions booklet during our review for the Valentine’s Day Dinner (40120) set. The 151 piece scene shows a female painting some Easter eggs in a kitchen. While not shown clearly on the front of the box, there is also an oven to bake some cookies.

If you haven’t picked up the Seasonal sets this year, LEGO has shifted from the cute animals to these 8×8 vignettes to represent the different holidays throughout the year. I’ve been told that we can expect to see the Easter set hitting LEGO Stores late February/early March and most likely on Shop@Home on March 1st. There’s no mention of the price for it but I assume it will be $9.99 as usual.
