LEGO has tweeted out another teaser image of the upcoming LEGO Ideas Doctor Who (21304) set. The image shows the inside console room of the TARDIS. It looks like we’re getting closer and closer to the reveal of the set, possibly around this weekend when New York Comic Con 2015 is going o.

LEGO Ideas Doctor Who (21304) TARDIS Teaser

LEGO Ideas Doctor Who

The LEGO Ideas Facebook Page has posted another teaser with the caption “landing soon” for the LEGO Ideas Doctor Who (21304) set, this time with the TARDIS that we’ll be getting. I’m not sure if the caption means that LEGO will be officially revealing it or if it means that we’ll be seeing it in stores soon. Rumor has it that the set will be a November release which also coincides with the release of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204). If you look closely, the Police Box sign appears to be printed but it’s hard to tell if it’s printed or stickers. Also notice the hinges on the side which means the TARDIS will be able to open up to show some details of the control room.

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303) Now Available on Shop@Home

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303)

After a short delay, the LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303)icon set is now available for purchase on Shop@Home. Supposedly, the delay was to include parts 4211695 and 4265484 to help strengthen the neck area but the real problem is with the head joint can’t support the weight of the head. We’ll see if LEGO has addressed this issue as well with the delay or if we’ll have to find alternatives to fix it. One very popular solution is by Chris McVeigh who has posted a guide with parts to fix the head problem. There’s no word yet on when LEGO Stores will have them in stock.

LEGO Ideas The Little Prince Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Little Prince project by Colin23 is the latest project to hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project is based on the book, Le Petit Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupery where a pilot stranded in the desert meets a yound prince fallen to Earth from a tiny astreroid.

The project just barely made it to the Second 2015 LEGO Review deadline with a few days to spare which also includes other projects like Brick-Built Adventure Time Figures, Caterham Super Seven, the Modular Library, Lothlorien, LEGO Physics, Ghostbusters: Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Hobbit-Rivendell, and the Indominus Rex as the ones that qualify to be reviewed by LEGO to become an official set. With the Second 2015 LEGO Review stage coming to an end, we should probably be hearing about the results of the First 2015 LEGO Review very soon so stay tuned for that.

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303) with Power Functions

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303)

There are some more modifications that builders have made to the new LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) set. Yesterday, I spoke about a mod by Chris McVeigh on a solution to fixing the stability of the head. Another builder named PPUNG DADDY(뿡대디) has implemented Power Functions to the WALL·E set. The way they have it set up, you only need 16 bricks including the Power Functions motor to get WALL·E moving. As you can see in the video below, the battery box is inserted into the trash compactor and the receiver is attached to the back while the motors are hooked on to the tread wheels. The wires go underneath the set which is very unintrusive. I’m pretty sure many had ideas about motorizing WALL·E and this is one way of doing it. Check out the video below.
