LEGO Ideas Second 2021 Review Stage Winners Announced

LEGO has announced the winners of the LEGO Ideas Second 2021 Review Stage and there were two projects that will now become official LEGO Ideas sets. These projects include:

A-Frame Cabin by Norton74

BTS’ Dynamite by JBBrickFanatic and BangtanBricks

LEGO also announced that the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that was under further review did not pass the review stage.

LEGO Ideas Hanging Flowers Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Hanging Flowers project by Ralf Ranghaal is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. From afar, you can’t really tell that they are made out of LEGO but they do make some great decorative pieces.

The project now joins The Forestmen Secret Inn, The Legendary Concorde, Wild West Mine, LEGO Koala, LEGO Toilet, Mini City Diorama: London with Underground Station!, Steampunk Airship, The Kit-Cat Clock, Tales of the Space Age, The Library, Santa’s Cottage, Mech Patrol, The Polar Express – 20th Anniversary, Boeing 747 Cockpit, Sherlock Holmes – 221B Baker Street, Adventure Box, and Wuppertaler Schwebebahn/Wuppertal Suspension Railway as the ones to reach the First 2022 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Second 2021 Review Stage Winner(s) to be Announced Tomorrow

LEGO has announced that they will be revealing the winner(s) of the LEGO Ideas Second 2021 Review Stage tomorrow. The reveal will be at 9am CET time which is midnight PST. There are 34 projects that are in the running and they include:

LEGO Ideas Wuppertaler Schwebebahn/Wuppertal Suspension Railway Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Wuppertaler Schwebebahn/Wuppertal Suspension Railway is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It is based on a monorail in Wuppertal, Germany that first opened in 1901 and is the oldest electric elevated railway with hanging cars in the world.

The project now joins The Forestmen Secret Inn, The Legendary Concorde, Wild West Mine, LEGO Koala, LEGO Toilet, Mini City Diorama: London with Underground Station!, Steampunk Airship, The Kit-Cat Clock, Tales of the Space Age, The Library, Santa’s Cottage, Mech Patrol, The Polar Express – 20th Anniversary, Boeing 747 Cockpit, Sherlock Holmes – 221B Baker Street, and Adventure Box as the ones to reach the First 2022 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Adventure Box Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Adventure Box by Homo Brickus is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 1,500 piece build was inspired by a sewing supply box. It has seven branches on four floors in which you can display anything you want.

LEGO Ideas Sherlock Holmes – 221B Baker Street Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Sherlock Holmes – 221B Baker Street project by DreamnBricks is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,200 piece build features a modular building of Mrs. Hudson’s house which has three floors and an attic. The minifigures proposed include Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, Mrs. Hudson, and Professor Moriarty.

BrickLink Designer Program Round 1 Shipping Update

It’s been a while since we’ve gotten an update about the BrickLink Designer Program regarding the pre-ordered sets from the first round but there is some news. Original orders that were placed in July 2021 are expected to arrive in March 2022. If you ordered the sets during the relaunch in August, they will be arriving in June 2022.

Thanks so much to everyone who ordered sets in Round 1 of the BrickLink Designer Program!

As there are currently global shipping delays worldwide, these orders are expected to arrive in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in March 2022. Orders placed in August 2021 are now being processed and will be shipped in the coming months – they’re expected to arrive by June 2022 at the latest.

As your order continues to progress, you may receive automated email updates which are generated as part of the shipping process.
