LEGO Seasonal 2016 Christmas Ornament (40223)

If you missed out on the LEGO Seasonal Snowglobe (40223) promotion from last year, LEGO is now selling it on Shop@Home for $9.99 with a limit of five per customer. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing that LEGO is selling previous promotions as customers had to spend at least $99 to get it originally however this may start a trend of LEGO reselling their previous promo items at a later time for those who missed it. LEGO Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249) Image Surfaced

It looks like the LEGO Iconic promotions will be continuing next year as an image of the LEGO Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249) has surfaced over on Bouwsteentjes.info. The set is similar to what we’ve had in the past with the cardboard box and a minifigure to represent the event which will be a guy with bunny ears. It looks like it will also come with a paintbrush and an egg as accessories but we’ll have to wait and see.

LEGO Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249) continues the line of these small promotional sets which started with the Easter (5004468) and Gingerbread Man (5005156) from 2016 and the Caveman & Cavewoman (5004936) from earlier this year.

There’s no information at this time on when or how to get this set but I’ll definitely let you guys know when the details are available a future LEGO Store Calendar.

LEGO Seasonal Christmas Ornament (5004934) Available at Target

We’re in the start of the second week of the Target promotions and this week, they have the LEGO Seasonal Christmas Ornament (5004934) available. You can get for free with a LEGO purchase of $35 or you can buy it individually for $6.99 each.

What’s misleading about this set is that the tree itself is just the cardboard cutout while you get pieces for the star on the top and the present builds along with the two minifigures. There is no tree that is shown on the box which is a major bummer as it would’ve been very nice to get it. Even so, the set does make a somewhat decent stocking stuffer.

Stock at your nearest location may vary as some stores have already started selling them last week. If that’s the case, online is your best chance to get it.

It consists of 230 pieces and you can get it for free November 24-27 with a purchase of $99 or more or if you’re a LEGO VIP member, you can get it a week earlier from November 18-19.

You may be wondering, didn’t we get one of these sets last year? Technically, yes but this year’s offering is slightly different from the one before. This new one has 254 pieces and has new mini builds.

Yesterday I reported on the November 2017 LEGO Store Calendar and one of the main promotions for Black/Brick Friday is the Nutcracker (40254) with purchases of $99 or more. Traditionally, LEGO has been releasing GWP holiday sets and they are usually high quality and collectible such as last year’s Snowglobe (40223). LEGO has already released the instructions for the 230 piece set and it’s a fairly large build that you can place on your mantle.
