Retired LEGO Star Wars UCS Sandcrawler (75059) Sale on Amazon

If you missed out on the recently retired LEGO Star Wars UCS Sandcrawler (75059), Amazon, as of this post, seems to have it in stock and at a lower price than the usual $299.99. Shop@Home does not carry the set anymore and LEGO Stores most likely won’t have it either but it is currently on sale for $284.12 which is a minimal discount but at least it’s in stock. If you’ve been wanting to get it, I highly suggest you jump on it as there’s no word on when it will be gone.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Snowspeeder (75144) Rumored for May the 4th

It’s that time again of the year when rumors of upcoming LEGO direct-to-consumer sets are starting to come in and for May the 4th, I’ve been told from an anonymous source that it will be the LEGO Star Wars UCS Snowspeeder (75144). I’ve correlated this information with another of my sources and they do match up so it looks like it may be true. There was talk of this set last year but there was no concrete information on it except for a listing on Brickset.

LEGO has released a UCS Snowspeeder before with set 10129 back in 2003 which had 1,455 pieces and retailed for $130 but the info I got today states the new one will go for $199.99, as UCS sets usually go for these days. If this information is correct, that means the rumored UCS Millennium Falcon could be the UCS set for the second half of the year.

LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 (40268) Polybag Found

LEGO Star Wars R3-M2 (40268)

It looks like 2017 is the year of the astromech droids as far as LEGO Star Wars polybags are concerned. There has been a new R3-M2 (40268) polybag that’s the traditional minifigure version that’s been found in a Romanian monobrand store. Upon some research, R3-M2 is from Rogue One.

If you look closely, you can see that it’s on it’s own stand and has a plaque card on the back with the name tag appearing to be a sticker. There’s even a Technic pin on the side of the stand that suggests there could be more polybags like this in the future.

I have a feeling that the R3-M2 (40268) will be this year’s May the 4th polybag promotion.

New Rumors of LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon Coming

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Star Wars and rumors have started to swirl about a LEGO Star Wars UCS set that has been rumored for a while. It’s pretty easy from the image above that it’s the Millennium Falcon. There are various users on Eurobricks who have some information about the new UCS Millennium Falcon. Paperballpark mentions that it’ll have interchagable radar dishes, one round and one rectangular, so you can display it as it is shown in Episodes 4-6 or in Episode 7.

To give more speculation on the UCS Millennium Falcon, the box on the updated UCS Death Star (75159)icon shows a blacked out silhouette of the Falcon on the bottom left corner that is more prominent than the silhouettes of the other ships. This could absolutely mean nothing at all or LEGO could be hinting at it for a while.

Given that the original 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon is one of the most definitive sets in LEGO Star Wars history and a holy grail for many fans, a new one would be great news. Fans weren’t too happy with the re-release of the Death Star since it wasn’t retired for that long but it’s safe to say that they would welcome a re-release of the UCS Falcon with open arms and wallets. There are many factors that contribute to the set being legit such as the Star Wars 40th anniversary and reports from good sources like Paperballpark and a “friend” that makes me think the set will be coming sooner than … Continue

LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611) Polybag Building Instructions

LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611)

A few days ago, I reported on a new LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611) polybag. This was a brick-built version of the droid which looks very cute. It looks like the instructions for the build are now online. It looks all the parts are fairly common except for the couple of printed 1×1 tile pieces for the front, which are exclusive. So if you already have all the parts, you can building R2-D2 pretty easily but have to do without the detailing in the front.

LEGO Star Wars Brick-Built R2-D2 (30611) Polybag Found

LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 (30611)

It looks like we have a cool little LEGO Star Wars polybag to find next year. A reader has posted the above image of a new LEGO Star Wars brick-built R2-D2 (30611) polybag on our Facebook Page. There’s no word on the origins of the image or how to obtain this polybag at this time but I can say that it will be a pretty popular one when it is available.

Update: It seems that the initial images was found over at Minifigure Price Guide.
