For those who missed out on purchasing the LEGO Target 2015 Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077) about a week ago, you’ll be glad to know that Target stores have now started to get shipments of them. They are still priced at $9.99 and it looks like there’s no limit. If you’re looking for it, use an inventory checker with the DPCI number 204-00-1716 to see if there are any near you. Some LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2016 Official Images

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Skull Sub Attack (76048)

There are now finally official images of some of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets coming out in 2016. First is the Iron Skull Sub Attack (76048) which includes minifigures of Scuba Iron Man, aka Mark 37 (Hammerhead), Scuba Captain America, Iron Skull, and a Hydra Diver.

The other set is the Avenjet Space Mission (76049) which has minifigures of Space Iron Man, aka Mark 39 (Starboost), Space Captain America, Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, Hyperion, and a bigfig Thanos.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Hulk (5003048) Confirmed for Toys R Us December 6 Promotion

The new Toys R Us ad for December 6 has started arriving in mailboxes and one of the LEGO promotions that will be going on is for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Hulk (5003048) minifigure polybag. You can get it free with purchases of $30 or more on LEGO sets. LEGO Dimensions is excluded with this promotion. After the promo period is over, you can most likely purchase them separately probably for around $4.99 each, if there are any left over. The item code is 169132 if you have trouble finding them.

LEGO Target 2015 Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077) Review

About a week ago, Target released the new 2015 LEGO Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077) online for purchase individually for $9.99 or you could get it free with certain purchase restrictions but a majority of buyers went with the former route. After a day or two, they seemingly removed it from the website while physical locations don’t even know about it. From what I’m hearing, corporate is pretty upset with it being sold online early or something.

Anyways, people have started receiving their shipments of the box set including me. This is the second box set that Target has released in two years so it could be a trend going forward with them releasing one around this time every year but we’ll see. The packaging is similar with clear windows showing the four minifigures that are included. The design corresponds to the particular theme the minifigure is in which is the same as last year’s themes.

More LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Video Game Characters Revealed

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game - Count Nefaria

The past week or so, the LEGO Marvel Game and TT Games Director Arthur Parsons has been revealing a few more playable characters for the upcoming LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Video Game. Some of these characters are pretty obscure but are affiliated with the Avengers in some way including the villain Count Nefaria who battled the Avengers and Swordsman who was a former Avenger. Other characters that have been revealed include Malekith the Accursed and Kurse from Thor: The Dark World and Thanos with either The Other or Ronan the Accurser. Parsons also hinted there will be more reveals at the 2015 Playstation Experience next week in San Francisco so stay tuned for that.

2015 Target LEGO Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077)

The 2015 LEGO Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077) is now available for purchase online at Target. The minifigures that are included in the set are DC Comics Super Heroes Lightning Lad, Ninjago Kai, Legends of Chima Sir Fangar, and a City Scuba Diver. You can see the other two minifigures in my previous post from last year.

The set goes for $9.99 but you can get it for free when you purchase $50 of City, Ninjago, and Super Heroes sets. You can also get free shipping on all orders. It doesn’t look like there’s a limit on the Minifigure Box Sets (5004077) you can get. Also it says LEGO items are excluded, you can use the promo code TOYS at checkout to save $2 on it.

If you’re searching for it online, the item number is 49153007. The store DPCI number is 204-00-1716.

Update: It looks like Target figured out their mistake and the TOYS promo code does not work at checkout anymore. Also, they are starting to ship the sets already as I have gotten a FedEx tracking number for my shipment.

Some LEGO Super Heroes 2016 Minifigure Details

In the past couple of days, there have been more leaks of various LEGO sets but of course I’m not going to post the images. However I can still talk about them, mainly for some of the LEGO Super Heroes including DC and Marvel.

There’s not much details about the DC sets except that one of them includes minifigures of Batman, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot.

The details of some of the Marvel sets have been floating around various forums but there is information that some of you may enjoy. For the Iron Skull Sub Attack (76048), the set includes minifigures of Scuba Iron Man, aka Mark 37 (Hammerhead), Scuba Captain America, Iron Skull, and a Hydra Diver.

Another set is called the Avenjet Space Mission (76049) and it’s a neat one. The Avenjet is similar to the ship seen in the Avengers Assemble animated series but the cool stuff is the minifigures that are included. We get Space Iron Man, aka Mark 39 (Starboost), Space Captain America, Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, Hyperion, and get this, a bigfig version of Thanos.

I know this is pretty vague with no official images to look at but I’m pretty excited for the new characters especially Thanos. Also the new Iron Man suits gets us a little closer to a collection of the Iron Legion from Iron Man 3. If you do run across these leaked images, please do not post them in the comments or I’ll have to remove them.
