The LEGO Movie New Exclusive Trailer

The LEGO Movie’s Facebook page has released their new exclusive trailer for the upcoming movie that will be released February 7, 2014. After watching the trailer, I’m now even more excited for the movie to come out. Don’t forget, there will also be official sets as well as Series 12 Collectible Minifigures that will be released next year based on the animated film.

Update: The video for the new trailer is now on YouTube.

Update 2: Warner Brothers has released a slightly longer trailer that features Batman goofing around a bit.

The LEGO Movie Teaser Trailers

The LEGO Movie Poster (Bigger Version)

Throughout this week, LEGO and Warner Brothers has been releasing short teaser trailers for some of the characters in The LEGO Movie that will opening on February 7, 2014. These teasers are in preparation for their all-new trailer set to be released tomorrow.

Emmet

Emmet is the main character in The LEGO Movie, voiced by Chris Pratt, and is an ordinary LEGO Minifigure who is mistaken for being a Master Builder who can help save their world.

Wyldstyle

Wyldstyle is Emmet’s love interest and is described as a tough as nails character who can quickly take control of any situation. She is voiced by Elizabeth Banks.

President Business

President Business is the main antagonist in the movie and is the president of Octan Corporation, which we’ve seen in many LEGO City sets throughout the years, as well as, in his words, the world. Voiced by Will Ferrell, he controls robot minions that will help with his plan to take over the world and is also fond of Taco Tuesdays.

Metal Beard

Metal Beard, voiced by Nick Offerman, rides around in a Pirate-styled mech and wants nothing more than to take revenge on President Business.

Batman

Batman is a hero who assist Emmet as well as other characters to save their world from domination by President Business. The character is voiced by Will Arnett.

New LEGO Luchador Minifigure Found on eBay

LEGO Luchador

A seller from Mexico is auctioning off a new LEGO Luchador minifigure on eBay that is probably going to be in Series 12 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures line which is devoted to characters in The LEGO Movie. As you can see, he looks very similar to the Super Wrestler in Series 1 but with a different color scheme and some pattern differences. He is seen 23 seconds into the trailer where Emmet introduces himself (see below). The images show him with a black cape but in the trailer, he has on a white one so we’re not sure which cape is included. This also makes me think that the Green Lantern minifigure we reported a while back could be one of the Series 12 minifigures since it doesn’t look like he’ll be in the 2014 DC Universe Super Heroes sets.
