LEGO Jurassic Park and Incredibles 2 Sets Found at Walmart

LEGO Jurassic World Incredibles 2 Walmart

Last week, I reported on a couple of new LEGO Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets and one of them was the 25th anniversary Jurassic Park set called the Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (75932). It looks like that set has started to hit sheleves a little early at Walmart because a reader has emailed in a couple of images of the set that he was able to purchase at his location in Connecticut.

In addition, he also found the third LEGO Juniors Incredibles 2 set which is called Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit (10759). The price was revealed to be $19.99 from the New York Toy Fair and it contains 95 pieces. The minifigures includes Elastigirl and another character.

Your mileage may vary but it’s worth checking out if you are looking forward to these sets. Thanks to Jay for emailing in the images.

60 Years of the LEGO Brick (40290) Winner Announced

Last month, I ran a contest for a chance to win the 60 Years of the LEGO Brick (40290) set. There were over 7,000 entries and I’ve randomly chosen the winner and that person is:

Jesus P.

I’ve contacted the winner to get their shipping details. Sorry about the late post about this but I didn’t forget about you guys. With all the issues of Toys R Us and the closing announcements, I’ve been busy dealing with that for the past few weeks and trying to figure out my next steps. I will also be announcing the winner(s) of The LEGO Batman Movie Minifigure Vignette Building Competition in the next day or so stay tuned for that. I think there were some very creative builds for that contest.

LEGO Ranked Number 2 on 2018 Global CSR RepTrak 100

LEGO has been announced as the second-most highly regarded company in the world on the 2018 RepTrak 100 survey. The Reputation Institute has annually done the survey in which LEGO ranked first last year but dropped just one spot this year which shows you how much the public still likes the company in terms of emotional appeal. This year also marks the eighth year in a row that LEGO has been in the top 10 on the survey. Check out the press release below.

BILLUND – March 15, 2018: Today, Reputation Institute released the annual RepTrak®100 survey. The LEGO Group maintains its rank from last year as the second-most highly regarded company in the world when it comes to corporate reputation.

Chief Executive Officer of the LEGO Group, Niels B. Christiansen, commented on the results:

“We are very happy and humbled to maintain such high regard by the public. It reflects the unique LEGO® idea and values, and the dedication our employees show every day to bring LEGO play to children all over the world. It is truly an honour to be embraced by the level of affinity that LEGO fans of all ages show us.”

“Since the LEGO brick was patented 60 years ago, we have been committed to inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow. Our ambition to reach more children with LEGO experiences is more important than ever, and our purpose is what drives us and keeps us on our toes. What is truly important about this ranking is what lies behind it;

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) Designer Video

LEGO has just released the designer video for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) which comes a few weeks after the set became available. I still don’t understand why LEGO is releasing the videos after the set are already available and not the day of or before. The video features LEGO designers Justin Ramsden and Adam Corbally who talk about some of the features of the set.

The Hulkbuster is available again on Shop@Home after being on backstock for a few days after its release a few weeks ago. Now is a good time to pick it up if you’ve been waiting on it because of the double VIP points promotion that’s currently going on.
