LEGO Ninjago Stone Armor Cole (5004393) Now Available as Toys R Us Promo

LEGO Ninjago Cole (5004393)

A few weeks ago, I reported the LEGO Ninjago Stone Armor Cole (5004393) was found at Toys R Us stores here in the US. It looks like the promotion for the minifigure has begun. From now until November 11, you can get it for free with LEGO purchases of $30 or more. TRU was hiding them behind the registers and if you don’t get it when you check out, ask for it. The item number for it is 313133.

I asked my store if they would sell it individually and they gave me a strict no on that. I’ve seen images of stores selling it by itself for $6.99/$7.99 each so your mileage may vary and depends on how lenient your store is. Also they said that after the promotion ends, they would not sell the leftovers like they do with the minifigure polybags and the LEGO representative will come by and take them back. If this is the case, hopefully we’ll see some sort of LEGO promo next year for it. If you remember, LEGO did that with the Easter Minifigure (5004468) aka the Chicken Suit Guy earlier this year.

How to Get the Exclusive LEGO Lester Minifigure Revealed

LEGO Lester

If you’ve been wanting to know how to get the exclusive Lester minifigure for the grand opening of the flagship LEGO Brand Store in Leicester Square, Brickset has given the details.

For every purchase over £55 during November 16-20, you’ll be given a scratch card. There, you’ll be given a chance to win either the LEGO Lester minifigure or the LEGO Creator Parrot (30472) polybag. This move by LEGO is very questionable and will certainly be met with disappointment by fans. This will also feed the secondary market and make this minifigure a pretty pricey one. Hopefully, this isn’t a beginning of a trend with the scratchers.

LEGO Dimensions Hermoine Fun Pack Includes Hippogriff

In a recent interview with MuggleNet, Arthur Parsons gave some new information on what will be coming in the SDCC confirmed LEGO Dimensions Hermoine Fun Pack. According to Arthur, the build that will come with the Fun Pack is a brick-built Hippogriff which can be rebuilt into two other creatures. One of the rebuild is an Owl and the other is possibly Hermoine’s cat, Crookshanks but that is not confirmed.

There’s no word on release date yet but it’ll most likely be next year in Wave 7.5 or Wave 8. Head on over to Mugglenet in the link above to hear their interview with Arthur.

Thanks to Jeremy B. for the heads up.

LEGO Sculpture Giveaways by Artist David Tracy

LEGO artist David Tracy has informed me that he’s doing some giveaways over on his Instagram. A few weeks ago, David did a livestrem over on Tastemade where he created an ice cream cone, a tea cup, and an apple and pear. All you have to do is to follow his Instagram page and like the picture(s) you’re interested in winning. If you’re trying for the pear and apple picture, the apple has been sold so you’re only trying to win the pear.

LEGO Nexo Knights Monster Building Event at Toys R Us

LEGO Nexo Knights TRU Build

If you don’t know about it yet, Toys R Us is having a LEGO Nexo Knights building event next Saturday, November 12 from 12-2pm. The build is some sort of monster that looks like a Scurrier. If you have the Merlok 2.0 app, you can also go on a clue hunt to get a Nexo Knights Power as well. Remember to get there early as these building events are pretty popular and can run out of stock quickly.
