More The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71017) Rumors

The LEGO Batman Movie

We already know there will be a line of The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71017) which will have 20 minifigures in the wave but there’s some new information coming out of Eurobricks for them. Delta Customs has stated there will be 7 different Batsuits, 10 villains, and 3 neutral characters.

If you watched the SDCC trailer, there were a lot of Batsuits that were shown in less than 10 seconds so any of them could be one of the minifigures in the set and maybe even some that weren’t even shown in the trailer. As for the villains, we’ve already seen plenty of them in the sets that have been revealed so far but director Chris McKay has stated that the Rogues Gallery will be filled out in LEGO so there’s plenty of villains to choose from. As for the neutral characters, that could be just anyone’s guess.

The LEGO Batman Movie Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522) Polybag Found

**Image has been removed by LEGO’s request.**

It looks like the news today will be geared more for The LEGO Batman Movie. First up is a new polybag found by the folks over at PromoBricks called Batman in the Phantom Zone (30522). The polybag features a standard Batman minifigure with the new utility belt piece along with some sort of device.

If you’re not familiar with the Phantom Zone, it is a realm in the DC Universe used to imprison criminals. This makes the Batman in the Phantom Zone polybag much more interesting and makes you curious of how the Phantom Zone figures into the movie.

This polybag was found on eBay so there’s no information on where or when it will be distributed. I’m hoping that it’ll be a GWP at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home.

Kevin Szeto’s motivation for creating the Yellow Submarine

“As an amateur musician and songwriter, I have always been drawn to the music of The Beatles. The creation of the Yellow Submarine model was really my way of showing my affection for The Beatles, as well as trying to pay a small tribute to The Beatles phenomenon. The Yellow Submarine is bright, fun, and colourful, which also made it a good subject to translate into LEGO form”, Kevin said as he shared his motivations for building the Yellow Submarine.

Justin Ramsden’s (LEGO designer) motivations were also very much centred around his love for the iconic band, as he was given

The book is separated into easy-to-follow chapters for the different steps of production. The first chapter gives you some of the basics of brickfilming like what kind of equipment is needed, how to set up the scene, and so on. The Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “The Bus” LEGO Set by Savath_Bunny is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas.
