LEGO Target 2015 Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077) Sold Online Again

If you guys missed out on the LEGO 2015 Minifigure Gift Box Set (5004077) that was on sale online a few weeks ago, you’ll be glad to know that it is back online again with the same promotion it had before. You can purchase it outright for $9.99 each or you can get it free with purchases of $39.99 or more on City, Ninjago, or Super Heroes sets. The promo lasts until December 25 online. Target stores also have the same promo going on too in their latest ad but it lasts until the end of the week. The main attraction for the box is probably the Lightning Lad minifigure.

If you’re at stores and you’ve been patiently waiting for the 2016 sets, you’ll be glad to know that a few sets have started to show up including the Kryptonite Interception (76045) for $29.99/DPCI 204-00-1517 as well as the Iron Skull Sub Attack (76048) for $29.99/DPCI 204-00-1520. Also there are reports that the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Poe’s X-Wing Fighter (30278) polybag have shown at Target, mostly at the checkout aisles.

Thanks to Nia for the reminder.

Issue 15 of Blocks Magazine is now with subscribers, and will be in shops on Thursday 17th December.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has finally arrived in cinemas, and to celebrate we’ve assembled the best builders in the galaxy to construct seven iconic saga scenes, from the classic trilogy to the new film. We also take a look at the Star Wars Battle Figures, and compare Darth Vaders new and old in a showdown of galactic proportions.

Elsewhere, we find out how LEGO can be used with prosthetic limbs to improve the lives of child amputees, how Britain’s most outspoken toy retailer is preparing for the Christmas season, how to bring your minifigures to life and why not every LEGO set is a solid investment.

There’s much more besides, as animation expert Steve Guinness wraps up his Italian Job project, while David Kresse shows us how to motorise our Technic MOCs. This build-filled issue is topped off with an exclusive interview with Michael Price, the mind behind LEGO Star Wars series Droid Tales.

Get your copy on Thursday in the UK, and why not subscribe to get future copies early and enter monthly free prize draws? See www.blocksmag.com for more details.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Dawn of Justice Clash of the Heroes (76044) Set Revealed

It looks like we have an image of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Clash of the Heroes (76044) set courtesy of CM4Sci on Eurobricks. The set is the smallest in the wave coming in at 92 pieces and it includes minifigures of Batman in his armored suit and Superman. The set seems to be loosely based off a scene that’s shown in the trailer. You also get a nice looking Batsignal which I hope is a printed piece.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order General (5004406) Minifigure Polybag Found

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order General (5004406)

Yesterday Just2Good has found a new listing on Brickset’s database of a new promotional LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order General (50044006) minifigure polybag that will be coming out next year. There’s no images of the First Order General yet.

There is also no information at this time of what this polybag is for, whether it be a May the 4th promo, a Shop@Home promo, or just a standard minifigure polybag at Toys R Us.

As we saw a few months ago, there’s also another The Force Awakens minifigure polybag coming out next year with Finn (FN-2187) in his Stormtrooper outfit. THere’s also no details at this time on that one either. More information as they come.

First Look at LEGO Super Heroes Mighty Micros Minifigures

Captain Nemo over Eurobricks has referenced Flickr user luiggi who has posted some images of the minifigures that will be in the upcoming LEGO Super Heroes Mighty Micros sets. These sets are pretty much small racer sets featuring Super Hero characters from both DC and Marvel.

As you can see below, the minifigures are basically chibi versions of the characters with them having funny expressions and short legs. There will be six sets in the initial wave of the LEGO Super Heroes Mighty Micros sets and they’ll be available in spring 2016. The sets are as follows:

DC Comics Super Heroes

Batman vs Catwoman (76061)
Robin vs Bane (76062)
76063 The Flash vs Captain Cold (76063)

Marvel Super Heroes
