It’s been a while since the last time we’ve talked about the Series 15 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71011) but ffgf on Eurobricks has posted an image of the box which shows all the characters we’ll be getting. Which minifigures are you excited to pick up?

Every year at this time, it’s been a tradition of me doing the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendars. The calendars are pretty special to me as they are one of the first reviews I’ve done on The Brick Fan since getting back into LEGO. This year is no different as I have the new LEGO Star Wars 2015 Advent Calendar (75097). It consists of 292 pieces and retails for $39.99. It is currently sold out at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home. I warned readers to pick it up as soon as possible when it became available in August/September because they tend to sell out by this time.
In 2016, LEGO will be releasing a few more LEGO Architecture sets but with a little change to the format that’s been working for them. For this next wave, a few of the sets will have a skyline format with some recognizable buildings from a particular city.
There are now finally official images of some of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets coming out in 2016. First is the Iron Skull Sub Attack (76048) which includes minifigures of Scuba Iron Man, aka Mark 37 (Hammerhead), Scuba Captain America, Iron Skull, and a Hydra Diver.
The other set is the Avenjet Space Mission (76049) which has minifigures of Space Iron Man, aka Mark 39 (Starboost), Space Captain America, Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, Hyperion, and a bigfig Thanos.

It’s December 1st and that means the January 2016 LEGO Store Calendar is now available to peruse. The main theme of the month is centered around the new LEGO Nexo Knights. One of the promotions for it will be a FREE Nexo Knights Intro Pack which is free with any purchase from January 1-10, while supplies last.
From January 16-31, you can get a free LEGO Friends Camp Bridge polybag with any Friends, Elves, or Disney Princess purchase of $35 or more.
On January 5-6, the VIP Monthly Mini Model Build will be a Polar Bear. Remember you have to be a LEGO VIP Member to sign up for the event.
At the beginning of the month, the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827) will be available for purchase. A lot of other sets from various themes will also be available. Also not listed is the newest LEGO Creator Modular building with the Brick Bank (10251).
On January 11-15, there’s a LEGO Nexo Knights Play event at LEGO Brand Stores. Build a monster or hero vehicle and get a power-up to use in the app.
On January 18, 4-6pm, there will be a LEGO Minifigure Swap at LEGO Brand Stores. Bring a minifigure to the store and trade with a Brick Specialist or other people there.
It’s technically December 1st on the east coast and that means some new LEGO 2016 sets are now available for purchase on Shop@Home. Some of the sets that are available include sets from various LEGO themes such as City
, Creator
, and Technic
. The two Disney Princess Frozen
sets are also available today as well. I believe this is the first time that LEGO has officially released sets for the next year a whole month early. If you’re doing some Christmas shopping, this gives you some more options to choose from.
The new LEGO Ideas Doctor Who (21304) set is now available for purchase on Shop@Home. I feel this set will run out of stock pretty quickly as we get closer to Christmas. If you haven’t checked it out yet, Brickset has already done a review on it. I’ll have my take on it in a few days.
