LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin Video Game Box Art Revealed

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin

Last year, we reported on announcement of the latest LEGO video game for the PlayStation Vita and the Nintendo 3DS, LEGO Ninjago Shadow of Ronin. The box art of the game is now available on Amazon and you can also pre-order the game there as well. Both versions of the game will be available on June 30 for $29.99.

There is a new threat in Ninjago, and his name is Ronin. With help from his army of dark samurai, Ronin steals the Ninjas’ memories using an ancient weapon called the Obsidian Glaive. The Ninjas forget how to use their elemental powers, and it is up to the players to help them find their Obsidian weapons, regain their memories and reclaim their powers before Ronin completes his plan and releases an even greater evil on Ninjago.

In LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin players will battle through iconic locales from the TV series, including the Ice Temple, the Toxic Bogs, and a mysterious new island, as well as visit the mountain village of Spinjago, where the Ninjas are currently training with Grand Sensei Dareth and Sensei Wu. Using their Spinjitzu abilities, players can unleash their Ninja’s elemental power to smash their way through enemies and solve puzzles. They can even team up and create multi-elemental builds using the Tornado of Creation.

  • Battle through iconic locales from the LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu TV series, including the Ice Temple, the Toxic Bogs and Chen’s Island.
  • Uncover the secret behind the Obsidian Weapons, ancient yet powerful tools.

LEGO Life of George Apps Being Discontinued

If you have the LEGO Life Of George game you might want to update the apps for it one last time. LEGO is closing down the Life of George and the Build Your Brain apps on February 1st. You will still be able to play the game but it will no longer be supported so that means that the current version will be the last. If you don’t have the set yet, I suggest still downloading it just in case you acquire a set in the future so you can have it. Thanks to Charlie for the heads up.

Advisory Notice: Regarding Leaked Summer 2015 Images

It’s that time when we start seeing images for the Summer 2015 LEGO sets but it’s also the time when we start seeing leaked images that are watermarked with the “Confidential” stamp. These images are usually from catalogs that retailers have and they’re itching to share sets that are coming out later this year. Publishing and distributing of these images are not allowed by LEGO although it doesn’t stop people from doing it.

The watermarked imaged images are pretty low quality and usually doesn’t reflect the final product although there are similarities between them. Yes, I have seen the images that have come out the past couple of days for various themes but please do not leave those links in our comment sections. I will be deleting them and if there are repeat offenders, I will be banning them from commenting. I’ve already had to delete a quite few of them already the past two days or so and will be continuing to delete them if I see them on my posts. Read more on LEGO’s policy of these images over on Brickset.

Other sites might be posting them or to the links with the images to get more traffic or whatnot but I’m not about that. I want quality posts that give quality to the readers, not showing off low quality images that’s hard to see the details. I have no direct relationship with The LEGO Group but I do respect their policies. Patience is virtue and the official images will be released in … Continue

LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper Sergeant (5002938) Minifigure Polybag Found

LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper Sergeant Polybag

Now that we’ve cooled down a little bit from all the LEGO Scooby-Doo news this morning, let’s turn our attention to LEGO Star Wars. There’s a new image coming out of Eurobricks of a Stormtrooper Sergeant (5002938) minifigure polybag from the Rebels line. There’s no mentioning of how it will be distributed because it’s not on our list of 2015 promotions. If I were to guess, it will be available to volunteers who participate in the 2015 LEGOLAND California Star Wars Days by building and bringing a MOC to display. I’ll have to confirm with Ace from FBTB later if this is the minifigure that will be given out or not. I would also guess that it’ll be available to the general public at a later date, most likely as a gift with purchase.

Update: There’s also reports that the Stormtrooper Sergeant will be available in a goodie bag for the first 500 visitors to the park who are dressed up in a Star Wars costume.

First Look at LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion (75904)

LEGO Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion (75904)

Coming off our earlier report on the new LEGO Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine (75902), there is now another set image from the wave. Toy News International has an image of the Mystery Mansion (75904) which is the biggest set in the wavve. There’s no word on the piece count but it will be priced at $89.99. The minifigures that are included with the set are Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Vampire, Ghost, and The Black Knight. The set itself does look pretty similar to the Monster Fighters Vampyre Castle (9468) as reported by CapnRex101.

The picture above may not do the set justice as CapnRex noted that there was more detail inside the Mystery Mansion than on the outside although there are some nice details such as the clock face and the man-eating plant next to the greenhouse. Additionally, note that Shaggy also rides a scooter as well. The only downside of this set is that you will need to get this set to complete the whole gang as Velma is exclusive to this one. Stay tuned as more images slowly are being released for the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets.
