LEGO Ninjago Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

Today, LEGO celebrates the 10 year anniversary of LEGO Ninjago with brand new sets and stylish collaborations. The theme was started way back in 2011 when I first picked up LEGO again in many, many years and who would’ve thought that it would be one of the most popular themes LEGO has released in its long history. Most themes are produced for only few years but it has been remarkable that Ninjago has been going on for a whole decade since it was supposed to end after season two. Check out the press release of the 10th anniversary of LEGO Ninjago below which includes a cool timeline of some of the major events that have happened in Ninjago throughout the years. There are also some new March 2021 Ninjago sets have been revealed below as well.

LEGO World Builder: “Holiday Heroes” Fan-Made Project Acquired by LEGO

Back in August, LEGO announced a new platform to allow creators to build content called LEGO World Builder and for fans to test out. If the content is good enough, LEGO may decide to purchase it from the creators and today LEGO has announced that Holiday Heroes by Eddy Beals is the first fan-made world to be acquired for development by LEGO. There’s so other details at this time but hopefully there will be some details about Holiday Heroes later on.

Holiday Heroes is officially the FIRST fan-made world on LEGO World Builder to be acquired for development by the LEGO Group! Created by Canadian AFOL, Eddy Beals, this world is a globe-trotting adventure inspired by his passion for exploring different cultures. Just weeks after Holiday Heroes was published, the LEGO Group took note and Eddy was invited to pitch his original world directly to their development team – and boy, did he impress! Have an idea for the next big LEGO world? Come build it on LEGO World Builder!

LEGO Ideas Asterix and Obelix Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Asterix and Obelix project by ZetoVince37 is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It features busts of the iconic comic book characters which you may have seen before. The busts look very close to the comic counterparts with the use of the quarter dome parts.

The project now joins The Shire, the Hobbithole of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, Among Us: The Skeld Detailed Map, The Office, Castle of Lord Afol and the Black Knights, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, The House of Chocolate, The Simpsons – The Krusty Burger as the ones to reach the First 2021 Review Stage.
