LEGO Star Wars D-O (75278) Amazon Sale – October 2020

The LEGO Star Wars D-O (75278) is currently on sale for 20% off the regular price. The set is now priced at $55.99 which is $14 off. You may be able to find it cheaper at Walmart in store as they are heavily discounting a lot of LEGO sets at the moment. Either way, this current price isn’t too bad for what you get especially since Amazon is cranking out more sales before Prime Day kicks off next week.

LEGO Double VIP Points Event – October 8-20

If you’re a LEGO VIP member, you may have gotten an email this morning saying that the double VIP points event will be back starting this week. From October 8-20, you can earn double VIP points on all purchases on the LEGO Shop and in stores. Hopefully, some of the newer sets that have been released like the LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) and the LEGO Winter Village Elf Club House (10275) will be back in stock in time for fans to take advantage of this rare event.

LEGO Reveals “Rebuild the World” Globe for LEGO House

LEGO has revealed a new 13ft globe build for the “Rebuild the World” campaign that will be displayed at the LEGO House. The build consists of over 350,000 pieces and took 2,700 hours to create and it includes LEGO creations from 430 kids all over the world. The builds are displayed on the globe in five categories: nature, vehicles, fantasy creatures, objects, and places.

You can still join the campaign by submitting your entries to the digital globe over at lego.com/rebuild-the-world. The globe at the LEGO House will be on display from October 6 – November 8.

The globe, which is on display at LEGO House in Billund, Denmark, took 2,700 hours to build and uses over 350,000 LEGO® bricks and elements. With LEGO creations sent in from all over the world, the globe acts as a joyful symbol of hope and positivity. Kids used their powerful imaginations to make sense of the world, and now the LEGO Group is giving us the opportunity to see the world through their eyes.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition Amazon Pre-Orders Live

Amazon has finally put up the pre-orders for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition. If you don’t know, the Deluxe Edition also includes the exclusive LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk (30625) minifigure polybag.

The Deluxe Edition also has the Character Collection Bundle Pack which has six DLCs for The Mandalorian, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and more.

Lastly, the packaging itself is very collectible as the box comes with a slipcover of Darth Vader’s helmet.

Currently, there’s still no set release date for it but the game will be out in 2021.

LEGO Star Wars Gift Box Russian Exclusive

There are images of a new LEGO Star Wars Gift Box that comes from a Russian LEGO Certified Store. There are no details about it except that it costs 6,499 rubles. These gift/mystery boxes usually contain some polybags of previous exclusives such as LEGO minifigures and a majority of the time, they are only available in countries outside of North America. This particular gift box will only be exclusive to just Russia and nearby regions.

LEGO Ideas Art Contest – Winning Builds Displayed in Denmark

LEGO Ideas has kicked off a brand new art building contest for some really good prizes, one of which is that your build will be displayed at the LEGO Campus in Denmark. Pretty much you just have to create something using LEGO bricks and you have to physically build it or you will be disqualified. Since the creations will be on display, they can’t be too small or too big so use your best judgement.

There will be five total winners of this contest you can choose one complete set of the LEGO Art series from the following:

• 4 x 31197 – LEGO Art Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe
• 4 x 31198 – LEGO Art The Beatles
• 3 x 31199 – LEGO Art Marvel Studios Iron Man
• 3 x 31200 – LEGO Art Star Wars™ The Sith™

In addition, your art creation will be displayed at the new LEGO Campus in Billund, Denmark.
