Final Black Widow Trailer Released

The final trailer for Black Widow was released yesterday and it shows a bit more of the story, more specifically, the family dynamics of Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova. It also shows a little bit of the helicopter which is featured in the Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase (76162) that is now available for purchase. It includes minifigures of Black Widow, Yelena Belova, and Taskmaster but too bad there’s no minifigure of Red Guardian at this time. Black Widow will be in theaters on May 1.

LEGO Ideas Bricks & Blooms Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Bricks & Blooms by Bricked1980 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The set is a modular building and it is basically a high street garden centre. It is designed to connect to existing LEGO modular buildings and it contains 2,587 pieces. There are three levels to the building which includes the garden centre, a cafe/restaurant, and an aquatics department.

The project joins Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane, Tesla Cybertruck, Untitled Goose Game, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Train Station: Studgate, SpaceX Falcon 9 (Saturn V Scale), Mini-fig Scale Project Gemini, Retro Bowling Alley, Indiana Jones Trilogy as the projects to reach the First 2020 Review Stage.

LEGO Technic Top Gear Teaser Turns Out to be Already Released Rally Car (42109)

A few days ago, LEGO did a teaser on Facebook of something The Stig from Top Gear was working on at the LEGO HQ but unfortunately, LEGO themselves were very slow on their reveals as it was for something that has been available for a few months already. If you watched the video, it was for the LEGO Technic App-Controlled Top Gear Rally Car (42109) and I’m not sure why LEGO decided to run this video now instead of last year when it was announced back in November. Sorry to have gotten your hopes up for something that I thought was for an upcoming set like the Fast & Furious set or the Lamborghini set.

LEGO DOTS Mini Frame (30556) Promotion Now Live on Shop@Home

The promotion for the LEGO DOTS Mini Frame (30556) is now live on LEGO Shop@Home. From now until March 22, you can get the polybag with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last. The Mini Frame will go well with the rest of the LEGO DOTS lineup which was officially launched last week. The promotion also runs alongside the LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) with purchases of $99 or more. LEGO rarely doubles up on promotions so get on it while you can.

LEGO House From AFOL to LEGO Designer Event Postponed Until 2021

Last year, I reported that the LEGO House will be holding an event called From AFOL to LEGO Designer which was supposed to be happening this Friday. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, LEGO has announced through the LEGO Ambassador Network that the event will be postponed to 2021. Fans who have already booked their trip will unfortunately be stuck with a sticky situation.

The fan event was intended for fans to meet and greet three LEGO designers Mark John Stafford, Justin Ramsden, and Marcos Bessa. We’ll update with more information as soon as there are more details for the 2021 event.

The decision was not taken light hearted but was necessary due to the Corona Virus situation and the to this connected internal LEGO Group guidelines.

We will postpone this fan evening to 2021.

LEGO Technic Top Gear Teaser on Facebook

Yesterday, the LEGO Technic team shared a teaser video of The Stig from Top Gear working on a secret project. The first half of the video shows him driving a green Porsche 911 GT3 RS. If you pause the video when he shows the passport, it shows a date of April 31 so that could be a clue, possibly for a reveal or a release date.

Earlier this year, LEGO did announce a LEGO Fast & Furious partnership and there’s a chance that it could be the blue Porsche from Fast Five. I’m just making guesses but the connections are somewhat there. The only thing that doesn’t mesh up is that the press release for the LEGO Technic Fast & Furious set will be available on April 27.

LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper and Boba Fett Busts Revealed

There are now some box art images of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars bust sets coming out of Brunai-based store Toy Santa. The two sets feature the Stormtrooper (75276) and Boba Fett (75277) and they are reported to be priced at $69.99. I do like the look of the boxes and they do state that the ages are intended to be 18+. These should be widely available unlike the Darth Vader and Sith Trooper from previous conventions.

Stormtrooper (75276) – 647 pieces

Boba Fett (75277) – 625 pieces
