LEGO Steve Harvey Bust Spiked by Gronk

If you didn’t watch the New Year’s Eve coverage last night on Fox, there was a segment featuring former New England tight end Rob Gronkowski along with Steve Harvey as well as a LEGO bust of Steve. It didn’t take long for things to derail as Gronk spikes the bust to Steve’s surprise. I can’t really tell if Steve’s reaction is legitimate or not but it’s a shame that the bust got smashed up. I can’t imagine how long it took designers to create it and if they knew that was going to happen. Anyways, Happy New Year to everyone and it’s time to get out there and build those new LEGO sets!

LEGO Fast & Furious Set Rumored for 2020

There’s a new LEGO 2020 set rumor that has stirred the pot again that could feature The Fast and the Furious franchise. Brick Fanatics is reporting that we could see a set based on something from the popular franchise. The rumor is that the set will be a larger style vehicle and not minifigure based. There were also rumors a few months ago that it could be a LEGO Technic Ultimate set based on Brian’s 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS from the first movie, similar to the Bugatti Chiron (42083).

It’ll be interesting to see how the Eclipse or any other Fast & Furious vehicle is translated into LEGO whether it be Technic style or maybe something for the Creator line. It’s worth noting that Fast & Furious 9 will be hitting theaters in May so there could be a cross-promotion for the movie and the set around that time. As always, these are strictly rumors until LEGO announces it.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (30453) Available at Walmart

A few days ago, I reported that the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (30453) polybag was available at LEGOLAND California but it looks like it has also showed up at Walmart. I’ve been told that they are now available at various Walmart stores and according to Brickseek, it will be priced at $4.97. The SKU for it is 376020294 and the UPC is 673419322539.

The Nick Fury minifigure appears to be the same as the one in the Captain Marvel and the Skrull Attack (76127) while Captain Marvel is in her Vers Starforce outfit which was previously an exclusive minifigure for the SDCC 2019 Captain Marvel and the Asis (77902).

Thanks to Dio for the heads up.

LEGO xtra Sports Accessories (40375) Polybag Review

LEGO xtra Sports Accessories (40375)

I’m back to reviewing some of the LEGO 2020 sets and today I have a small one with the LEGO xtra Sports Accessories (40375) polybag. It has 36 pieces and retails for $3.99. If you’re not familiar with the LEGO xtra theme, it is basically sets that are added accessories that can be used for various settings.

For this Sports Accessories polybag, there are pieces of equipment used for various sports. Some of the items included are a pair of skis along with ski poles and a helmet. There are also some ice skates as well as roller skates with its respective helmet. To be used with those, there are a pair of hockey sticks, goal posts, and puck. In addition, there’s also an archery target with a bow and arrow. Lastly, there’s a pearl-gold trophy.

Overall, the LEGO xtra theme isn’t for everybody but it is available for those who would like some extra accessories for their displays. At $4 a polybag, you can get a decent amount of specialized parts that you usually don’t find in every set.
