LEGO Elves 2015 Official Images Revealed

LEGO Elves Aira’s Creative Workshop (41071)

The LEGO 2015 image reveals continues from Just2Good today with a brand new theme that will be introduced next year, LEGO Elves. Unfortunatly, there are no images of the boxes at this time but you do get to see what the sets look like. Like LEGO Friends, LEGO Elves will be using the minidolls as well for their figures. As you can see, the fantasy theme is very colorful with a lot of new elements such as the new six peg flower piece and new color leaves. The above set is called Aira’s Creative Workshop (41071).

There are two sets that doesn’t have images yet, Azari & The Magic Bakery (41074) and the Treetop Hideaway (41075) but we’ll update this post when they become available.

LEGO City 2015 Official Images Revealed

Earlier today while I was out doing real life stuff, Just2Good made another reveal for next year’s sets and this time it was the LEGO City 2015 sets. Like with previous years, the LEGO City theme has been broken up into different subthemes and for this year, they include the Swamp Police, Construction, Great Vehicles, and regular system sets. There are also some Starter Sets that allow you to get your LEGO City started. These sets have a number of different minifigures as well as some vehicles and structures.

J2G mentions there are quite a few sets that there are no images of at this time. We’ll update this post as soon as they become available.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Slave I (75060) Officially Announced

During one of the biggest LEGO events of the year at BrickCon 2014 in Seattle, LEGO has officially announced the latest LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set, the Slave I (75060). We first saw a few images of the set last month but we now have more high resolution images of the Slave I. The set consists of 1996 pieces and will be available in January 2015 for $199.99. Hopefully, there will be an early access to the set for LEGO VIP members late December, just in time for Christmas. Check out the images, press release, and designer video below.

LEGO Pirates 2015 Official Images Revealed

The week long marathon of LEGO 2015 set image reveals by Just2Good continues today with the return of LEGO Pirates. The only set that is missing from the list is Treasure/Skull Island (70411). The LEGO Juniors theme also gets a Pirates set themselves. With the return of Pirates, the Imperial Soldiers also make their long-awaited return to LEGO sets. The last time we saw the soldiers was in 1991 in which they were replaced by the Imperial Guards who word red uniforms. Some older characters also make their return to next year’s LEGO Pirates sets like Governor Broadside and Captain Redbeard.

The Brick Bounty is the newest Pirates ship to be released next year. The name of the set was from ReBrick’s Name That Ship contest. In that set, it looks like there will be a new saw shark head piece.

Stay tuned for more reveals possibly later today as J2G hints that the next sets he will be revealing is “a war up in the stars.”

LEGO Seasonal Christmas Reindeer (40092) Review

Although it’s only the beginning of October, it’s still not too early to talk about Christmas and the holidays. As of yesterday, the new LEGO Seasonal items are now available and these also include the buildable creatures that LEGO has been releasing throughout the year. Here we have the first of two creatures that are focused around Christmas and that is the LEGO Seasonal Christmas Reindeer (40092). It contains 139 pieces and retails for $9.99 which is a great $0.07/piece. The Reindeer is the third largest of the 2014 buildable Seasonal creatures, by piece count, behind the Halloween Bat (40090) and the Christmas Snowman (40093) which we will be review next.

LEGO Seasonal Christmas Reindeer (40092)

Like with pretty much every other Seasonal character so far, the box has two un-numbered bags and a small instructions booklet. The build starts at the feet where the Reindeer has hinged plates to move the legs. Building continues up the body where the arms are also on hinged plates. The middle of the body has a 1×2 brick with cross hole so you can attach either of the presents to the body so give the illusion of the Reindeer holding them. After that, you build the head with it wearing a Christmas hat. The ears also have some movement in front of the antlers.

Like I mentioned before, there are two presents, one large and one small, with TECHNIC pin protruding from the backside. This allows you got attach either to the body of the Reindeer to make him hold it.

LEGO Legends of Chima 2015 Official Images Revealed

The LEGO 2015 set images marathon continues today with Just2Good revealing the new wave of LEGO Legends of Chima sets for next year. The theme continues with the Fire vs. Ice storyline and it also includes some new tribes such as Bears, Beavers, Ice Bears, and Tigers. We also get some Battle Packs for a few tribes so you can grow your army. Check out the 2015 LEGO Legends of Chima sets below.
