LEGO City Summer 2018 Hospital (60204) Set Revealed

It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten one but there are now images of the new upcoming LEGO City Hospital (60204). If you’ve been collecting City sets, you would know that a LEGO hospital set has been really rare the past few years since the theme has been dominated by Police and Firefighting sets.

In this set, you get the three story hospital along with an ambulance as well as a helicopter. For the minifigures, there are doctors, nurses, paramedics, numerous patients including one in a wheelchair, and a family with a stroller.

All in all, the Hospital is a great addition to any City layout and for those who haven’t had a chance to get one before, this one is a great opportunity to add to your collection.

The Toys That Made Us Returns May 25 Including LEGO Episode

It has been announced that The Toys That Made Us will be returning to Netflix on May 25, 2018. There will be four episodes that will be coming which includes Transformers, LEGO, Hello Kitty, and Star Trek. Yes that’s right, we’re finally going to get to see the LEGO episode that was teased about a few months ago. There’s no details on what the episode will consist of but it’ll probably feature some AFOLs from Bricks LA from earlier this year as well as some footage from Billund. It was stated in a comment on my previous post about the show that the LEGO episode will focus on things that previous LEGO documentaries didn’t focus on. Whatever that means, it’ll be exciting to see what that could be.

First Look at LEGO Fantastic Beasts Niffler Figure

Just a short while ago, J.K. Rowling over on her Twitter posted the first image of the LEGO Wizarding World Niffler figure. It’s most likely that it will appear in the upcoming Newt Scamander’s Suitcase set coming later this year. We’ve already seen one set last month based on Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald film with Grindelwald’s Escape. It looks like LEGO and Warner Bros. will be teasing more images of upcoming sets as we get up to San Diego Comic Con.

LEGO Elves Emily & Noctura's Showdown (41195)

The official images of the summer 2018 LEGO Elves sets are now listed on Italian site Radio Kontrol. It looks to be that there are only two sets in the wave which could suggest the theme is slowly winding down but don’t take my word for it. This year marks the fourth year of LEGO Elves and it is roughly about the lifespan of a particular theme.

The LEGO Minifigure Factory (5005358) promotion is still currently going on at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home and it is one of the most unique gift-with-purchase items that they have released in recent years. Until April 20 or while supplies last, you can get it for free with purchases of $75 or more. The set is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the LEGO minifigure.

LEGO BrickHeadz 2018 Rumored Set List

Back in February, I reported on some rumored LEGO BrickHeadz sets coming in 2018 which some we already have images of including Tactical Batman & Superman (41610), Back to the Future Marty McFly & Doc Brown (41611), Incredibles 2 Mr. Incredible & Frozone (41613), and Jurassic World Owen & Blue (41614). The LEGO Rebrick building contest going on right now says there are 23 total sets that will be coming out which includes 12 retailer exclusives.

There’s some new information coming out of Reddit of some new ones that I haven’t reported on including Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as a Groot and Rocket Raccoon. There’s also the names of the two Harry Potter ones that will be coming out this summer. LEGO is definitely going all out this year for the BrickHeadz which also includes the very popular Go Brick Me (41597). Which ones are you looking forward to picking up?

LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2018 Promotions Revealed

The new LEGO catalogs have started to show up in mailboxes and it shows some of the promotions we can expect to see during the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th event that is happening from May 4-6. As I stated before, LEGO has not revealed the May 2018 Store Calendar to keep the promotions a secret but the cat is out of the bag now. Let’s go over the promos, shall we?

As you can see from the image above provided to me by Jeff on Twitter, the main promotion is the LEGO Star Wars Mini BB-8 polybag with a purchase of $75 or more on May 4th only. This is the building version of the character which is similar to what we got last year with R2-D2.

We can also get Double VIP Points during the whole promotional period which is expected.

There will be select LEGO Star Wars items on sale at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home including Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter.

Finally, the recently revealed UCS Y-Wing (75181) will be available for purchase for $199.99.
