If you’re looking for some extra storage for your LEGO parts, Amazon, as of this writing, has a sale going on for their 64-drawer Akro-Mils cabinet for $25.97 which is 39% off the normal price. Akro-Mils and Stack-On cabinets are some of the more popular storage options but currently Akro-Mils has a slightly better drawer/price ratio.

Earlier today, The Hollywood Reporter has released some information regarding next year’s The LEGO Ninjago Movie. If you’re going to watch the Storks next month, there will be a five-minute animated short shown in the beginning for Ninjago called The Master: A LEGO Ninjago Short. It will feature Jackie Chan as Master Wu who “gets into a conflict with Chicken” voiced by Abbi Jacobson while the short will be narrated by Justin Theroux.
If you remember, the cast of The LEGO Ninjago Movie was announced a few weeks ago with some big name actors/actresses including Chan, Jacobson, and Theroux, among others. Jacobson will also be voicing Nya while Theroux will be voicing Garmadon. The LEGO Ninjago Movie itself will open on September 22, 2017 and it is rumored there will be LEGO Ninjago Movie sets as well as a Collectible Minifigures line to be released in conjunction.
If you didn’t know yet, a lot of older LEGO Dimensions Fun Packs are on sale now at various retailers including Amazon to make way for the upcoming Year 2 packs. Some packs have decent discounts for Amazon Prime members while some like the Back to the Future Doc Brown Fun Pack (71230) are at an 80% discount. Looking to grow your Cyberman army? Earlier today at Gamescom 2016, IGN did an interview with LEGO Dimensions Game Directors James McLoughlin and Arthur Parsons to talk about details about some of the upcoming expansion packs for Year 2. There’s also some new gameplay footage of the Harry Potter Team Pack (71247) as well as from the Sonic the Hedgehog Level Pack (71244). In the Harry Potter World, you can see Voldemort flying through various locations like Grimmauld Place, Hogsmeade, and Hogwarts using the unsupported flight spell. The LEGO Dimensions Year 2 Wave 6 content will be available starting September 27 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.
PlayStationLifeStyle.net is reporting that the Brazil Rating Board had a listing (now removed) for a LEGO Harry Potter Collection will be coming to PlayStation 4. The collection is reported to include both LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 as well as LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. There was no mentioning of when the LEGO Harry Potter Collection will be released but the Harry Potter Universe has been the talk for the past few months with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play and book along with the Fantastic Beasts movie coming out soon. If the PS4 collection does come out, I wouldn’t be surprised if it also comes with some kind of exclusive LEGO minifigure or build.
Remember back in April when an image of Supergirl came out for LEGO Dimensions? Well it looks like we now have information on how to get the minifigure. Earlier today for Gamescom 2016, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released details on how to get Supergirl for LEGO Dimensions and they have sent over assets including in-game images.
It turns out that Supergirl will be an exclusive bonus for the Playstation 4 Starter Pack (71171) starting on September 27. Obviously, this is a terrible announcement for people who already purchased the Playstation 4 Starter Pack or for those with other systems. People will most likely not be spending more money on another Starter Pack just to get the minifigure so the secondary market will definitely benefit from it. There’s no doubt that many fans will not agree to this move and hopefully we’ll be able to get Supergirl in a separate expansion pack but that probably doesn’t seem likely. You can now pre-order the LEGO Dimensions PS4 Starter Pack with the Supergirl minifigure over on Amazon and it will be released the same day that the Year 2, Wave 6 expansion packs are available.
