The Legends of Chima, which was thought to replace Ninjago, isn’t in stores yet but LEGO has decided to make this update public. LEGO has heard the voices of the many fans who were distraught to see that it was ending. The Dark Knight Rises Trailer #3 in LEGO

Earlier this year ParanickFilmz with the help of Jedimastersoda and Adviceversas recreated one of the trailers for The Dark Knight Rises. They’re back and have recreated the film’s third trailer using LEGO and stop-motion animation. Like before, this is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while. Take a look at the LEGO version and the original trailer in the side-by-side comparison. You can see that they match up pretty much perfectly. Head over to ParanickFilmz’s channel to see more of their work.

More LEGO Minecraft Sets On The Way

The LEGO Minecraft (21102) set has been a hot selling item this year for LEGO and has been selling out very quickly but some relief might be coming. An article by Forbes states that in a tweet by Mojang CEO Carl Manneh, more LEGO Minecraft sets will be available in stores before the the holiday season. There’s no word on how many sets will be available for sale though. This is great news for individuals who have been wanting a set but couldn’t get a chance to buy one. Keep checking LEGO Shop@Homeicon as well as Jinx to see when they will have them back in stock.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 9 Preview (Continued)

LEGO has revealed the front images of the Series 9 Collectible Minifigures on their Facebook page. The minifigure bios are also on their minisite. Whitefang over on Eurobricks has already done an extensive reviews on the Series 9 minifigures. He states that now there might be only two complete sets in an unopened box. Does this mean that some minifigures are more rarer than other? That could happen but that’s the luck of the draw. Which Series 9 minifigure are you looking forward to getting?

Alien Avenger

Alien Avenger

“Smash, mash, and destroy!”

The Alien Avenger is part of a team of rough, tough space warriors assembled from all across the galaxy. With armor and weapons scavenged from the battlefields of a hundred war-torn worlds, he may lack military discipline, but he makes up for it with brute strength and eagerness to charge into battle no matter the odds.

As one of 5,000 identical siblings, the Alien Avenger is used to not standing out in a crowd. But it doesn’t bother him that some may see him as just another nameless, faceless trooper – give him a planetoid beneath his feet and a disintegrator blaster in his hand, and he’ll take on anything and everything that comes his way!”

LEGO CUUSOO Space Marines! Achieves 10000 Supporters

After almost a year since the Space Marines! project by NickRoyer was submitted to LEGO CUUSOO, the project has finally reached the 10000 supporters needed to be considered to be an official LEGO set. The Space Marines are loosely based on the Galaxy Patrol Collectible Minifigures so there wouldn’t be an issue with licensing or any Intellectual Property (IP) issues either. The theme also could also fit in with the new Galaxy Squad sets but these are totally separate themes so LEGO might not want to have both themes selling at the same time. From what we’ve seen in the past, Space themed LEGO sets do sell really well so it would be beneficial for all parties involved but that’s up to the LEGO Jury to decide. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens after the review. Congratulations to Nick for this amazing achievement! Below is the official LEGO comment.

Congratulations on 10,000 Supporters, NickRoyer, GreenLead, and CrashSanders!

2012.11.29

Space Marines is a fun concept, well thought out, and with broad-based support. You’ve done a great job of presenting it concisely with a lot of possibilities. Further it is a great example of a high quality concept refined over time into something that looks like it has real potential as a LEGO product.

Congratulations on achieving 10,000 supporters. We now officially advance this project to the Review phase.

What happens now?
This project moves from the Idea stage to the Review stage. A “LEGO Review Board” composed of designers, product managers, and other key
