LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) First Look

Earlier today, the LEGO South Korea Facebook Page, accidentally hit the wrong button and published an image of the LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290). The image isn’t too clear but you can clearly see the Cantina along with the 21 minifigures that are included in the set. It also lists the set as a September 16 release so the official announcement of it should be coming really soon. Although this is a “leak” and the post has been deleted, we are allowed to share it since it came from LEGO themselves.

LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) D2C Rumored to be Coming Soon

There’s a new rumor going around for the next LEGO Star Wars direct-to-consumer set which is reported to be the Mos Eisley Cantina (75290). Word has it that it will be part of the Master Builder Series which is the playset style of exclusives. There’s no concrete details on what Mos Eisley will include but it was said the be released in September which is similar to what LEGO has done in the past. The price point could be around €349.99 and have up to 3,500 pieces. Again, these are purely speculation and I can’t confirm the validity of it as this is the first time I’ve heard of it. We’ll see in a few months. What do you want to see in the Cantina if this turns out to be true?

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Partial Set Details

It was only yesterday that we reported on some of the new LEGO Star Wars 2014 Summer sets. Members over on Eurobricks have already found some preliminary images of a couple of the sets from a retailer catalog. The images originated from a user on Instagram below are some details of what I saw.

Jedi Hunter Frontier (75051)

Contains 4 minifigures: Jek-14, unnamed Ithorian Jedi Master, RA-7 Protocal Droid, unnamed Astromech Droid. The set could be another one based on The Yoda Chronicles.

Mos Eisley Cantina (75052)

Looks to have 7 minifigures: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Greedo, Sandtrooper, and 3 Bith musicians of the Cantina Band who have Squidward’s head. Hopefully the heads are only temporary. Set also includes the Dewback who we saw in the 2013 Advent Calendar bonus video. The image also shows part of Luke’s Landspeeder in the shot but not sure if it’s included in the set. Considering the 8092 version only had 163 pieces and the Cantina itself is slightly larger than the 4501 version, LEGO could combine the two sets since the new set has 615 pieces. Again, these are preliminary shots so anything can change.

AT-AT (75054)

Contains 5 minifigures: AT-AT Driver, General Veers, Snowtrooper Commander, Snowtrooper x2. AT-AT looks very similar to the 8129 version but with a slightly updated look.

Imperial Star Destroyer (75055)

Contains 6 minifigures: Darth Vader, Imperial Officer, Imperial Crew, Stormtroopers x2, some other guy I can’t make out. Looks similar to previous Imperial Destroyers but with some slight changes. It looks like the … Continue
