LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game PC Demo Review and Full Gameplay

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Poster

Today, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game PC demo became available for the public. I spent some time playing it and also doing a recording of the gameplay. My laptop isn’t specced for gaming so there might be a little lag in the video. The controls I used were the default ones.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Demo Silver Surfer

The beginning cutscene “shows” unknown being eating the LEGO, Marvel, WB Games, and the Telltale logos after they blown up. After he finishes eating, he tells the Silver Surfer to find him something else to eat. The game starts off with the Sandman and the Abomination taking over Sand Station Central and wanting the Cosmic Bricks. Iron Man comes into the action along with the Hulk. Throughout the demo, you can the hear some voiceovers from Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson. Initally, you take control of the Hulk and Iron Man. You can switch between the two by pressing (U). Each character has an Action/Attack (H), Jump (J), and a Special Move (K). The Hulk’s moves are pretty simple. He just smashes stuff and even yells the phrase when you do a jump attack. You can even do the move he did to Loki in the Avengers movie where he flings him around. I must say that it is pretty spot on. You can do that move by getting close to an enemy and pressing Action/Attack (H). There’s also a cool animation where he punts the minion away. LEGO Seasonal Brickley The Sea Serpent Polybag (40019) Review

I was at my local LEGO store today and saw the LEGO Seasonal Brickley The Sea Serpent Polybag (40019) on sale and thought it would be a nice little pickup. The polybag contains 59 pieces and normally retails for $4.99 but I got it for $3.98. It was released in 2011 around the same time as the Easter Seasonal polybags.

LEGO Seasonal Witch Polybag (40032) Review

Last fall, LEGO released a new Seasonal polybag, the Witch (40032), which was previously exclusive to LEGO stores and on Shop@Home. Target stores are currently setting up their Halloween section and the Witch polybag is available for purchase. It goes for $4.99 and contains 71 pieces, a great $0.07/piece ratio.

LEGO City Coast Guard Seaplane Polybag (30225) Review

Toys R Us stores and online is currently have a promotion going for a free LEGO City Coast Guard Seaplane Polybag (30225) with purchases of $20 or more on any LEGO sets. I managed to get one by itself since I didn’t really need to get any other sets at this time. The polybag contains 37 pieces and retails for $3.99 which comes out to about $0.11/piece.

LEGO City Ride-On Lawn Mower Polybag (30224) Review

Today, I was went to my local Toys R Us store since I was in the area and found out that they have remodeled the LEGO section and they had some new polybags in stock. One of these polybags is the LEGO City Ride-On Lawn Mower (30224). The set contains 42 pieces and retails for $3.99 each.

LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes Superman: Black Zero Escape (76009) Review

In out second review of the LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes sets of 2013, we have the Superman: Black Zero Escape (76009). The set contains 168 pieces and retails for $19.99 which is about $0.12/piece. The contents of the box includes two numbered bags, one instruction booklet, one comic book, and one small sticker sheet.
