The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks 100% Funded

LEGO’s new book that will be publishing with Unbound called The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks has been fully funded. This means when the pre-orders are done in 2021, it will go in production shortly after and will be shipped in Spring 2022. You can still pledge your support for it and as an incentive, your name will be printed in the supporter section of the book. There are still some bonuses left, most of which are limited edition prints.

Adam Savage Finishes Sorting His LEGO Collection

Back in May, Tested’s Adam Savage started his project of sort his LEGO collection. In his latest One Day Build episode, the timelapse shows him sorting his massive pile of LEGO bricks into ArtBin. The collection of bricks are sorted by color in 32 ArtBins. As of right now, all his LEGO is finally sorted but he still needs to put them away in his shop which will most likely be another video. LEGO IKEA BYGGLEK Collection Officially Revealed

LEGO and IKEA has officially revealed their new collaboration project with BYGGLEK which was announced in June 2018. The collection aims to encourage more play around the home. We’ve already got a first look at it a few months ago when it was put out early but BYGGLEK will be available starting on October 1 in North America and throughout Europe.

August 27, 2020: Today, IKEA of Sweden AB and the LEGO Group reveal the long-awaited outcome of their collaboration. The two brands have joined forces to create a playful storage solution called BYGGLEK. Consisting of a series of storage boxes with LEGO® studs and a special LEGO brick set, the new BYGGLEK collection aims to encourage play and infuse more fun into storage around the home. The BYGGLEK collection will start to be available in existing IKEA retail channels throughout Europe (except Russia) and North America from October 1. The global roll-out will happen in 2020. LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) Now Available on Shop@Home

The LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (75294) is now available for purchase on Shop@Home. The set has 295 pieces and retails for $39.99. It is an event item for the now cancelled Star Wars Celebration 2020 convention and won’t be available outside of North America. Fans in Canada are also able to get it as well. Bespin Duel recreates the iconic scene on Cloud City from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back where Luke learns that Darth Vader is his father.

Update: It is now also available at Target with a limit of 1 per household.

LEGO has partnered with Tongal to launch a brand new story development platform called LEGO World Builder. This opportunity gives LEGO fans direct access to the LEGO creative team to develop stories, shows, and more.

If you remember, LEGO asked for beta testers back in April for a new project and the end result is LEGO World Builder. The Naruto: Ichiraku Ramen Shop by DadiTwins is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features the iconic Ichiraku Ramen Shop from the Naruto manga/anime and it has lots of details on the interior and exterior.
