LEGO Star Wars 2015 Sith Infiltrator (75096) and Constraction Set Details

We have some new LEGO Star Wars 2015 news/rumors for you guys today. Sir von Lego over on Eurobricks has in hand a German retailer catalog and there’s a new set that we haven’t mentioned before, a Sith Infiltrator (75096). This new version of the ship could be a store exclusive and that’s why it wasn’t mentioned before. It was also stated that the minifigures that will be included in the set are Darth Maul, Watto, Young Anakin, Astromech, and Qui-Gon Jinn. There’s been a couple version released already with the latest one being 7961 in 2011 but it seems that we’ll be getting another Sith Infiltrator this year.

Sir von LEGO has also given a more accurate detail of the characters for the LEGO Star Wars Constraction Ultrabuild sets coming later this year. These characters are Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, General Grievous, and a Stormtrooper. It was earlier mentioned that Jango Fett and Commander Cody would be two of the characters but it seems that that isn’t the case now.

Disney XD Acquires LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales

Disney has announced that they have acquired LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales from The LEGO Group. As a result of this acquisition, they will be airing the show on Disney XD later this year. LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is an animated series that consists of five 22-minute episodes telling the story of Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace up to Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi from C-3PO and R2-D2’s perspectives.

What’s interesting about this something that was written in the press release. “C-3PO and R2-D2 have gathered to regale Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and the other Rebels with the tales of their adventures that led to the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.” C-3PO wasn’t fully functional until Anakin activated him when he first met Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on Tatooine. C-3PO was also first introduced to R2-D2 so there wasn’t really any adventures to speak of before that unless the whole story is retconned. We’ll see what happens when the show airs on Disney XD later this year.

ENFIELD, Conn., Feb. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The LEGO Group, world renowned manufacturer of construction toys, today announced that Disney XD has acquired LEGO® Star Wars™: Droid Tales for airing later this year. LEGO Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Set Pricing

The last time that there was information about the LEGO Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens sets was last month when there were details of the set numbers and pricing in British Pounds. We also knew there was going to be an updated Millennium Falcon as well as a X-Wing. There is new information coming from BZPower, albeit a little late on my part, of the piece counts of the sets as well as US and Canadian dollar prices for each of these sets. I’m going to venture a guess and say the most expensive set will be the new Millennium Falcon. All the sets below will be available in September.
