The LEGO Batman Movie: The Essential Collection will be available on September 26 and you can pre-order it today for $15.39. The only bummer is that this collection wasn’t released earlier so a lot of us already have the books already.

As I mentioned before in my previous post, The LEGO Batman Movie Batman Battle Pod (5004929) is now available at Toys R Us. There is a promotion going that you can get it for free with purchases of $30 or more in TLBM sets. Some stores may allow you to purchase it individually for for $5.99 each. If they don’t, they’ll be available for purchase when the promotion ends at the end of the week, if they have any left over.

The LEGO Batman Movie Batman Battle Pod (5004929) Found at US Toys R Us

It finally looks like the US will be getting The LEGO Batman Movie Batman Battle Pod (5004929) in a wider release. A reader has sent in an image of the polybag set out in a New Jersey Toys R Us. We’re still not sure of the official release date of it at TRU as they had to key it in but it rang up for $5.99 each.

If you remember from earlier this week, LEGOLAND California also has a promotion going for the Batman Battle Pod so it appears that LEGO will be finally releasing it here in the US. The item number 740399 and the SKU is 673419269292.

There’s still no word on whether TRU will be the only retailer having it available or if Shop@Home or other outlets will have them as well. Be on the lookout at your local Toys R Us to see if they have it at your store. Thanks to Todd for emailing this in.

Update: I’ve been told that it will officially be available at TRU starting on Sunday. We’ll see what sort of promo it goes with when the weekly ad comes out in a few days. Thanks to Peter for this info.

The LEGO Batman Movie Batman Battle Pod (5004929) LEGOLAND Promotion

The celebrate the launch of The LEGO Batman Movie on home media, LEGOLAND California has finally released information on how to get the Batman Battle Pod (5004929) polybag.

Merlin, Ambassador, and LEGOLAND California Pass Members will have a special promotion going from June 6-30, 2017 in which you can get the polybag for free with purchases of $20 or more in LEGO Batman products.

The promotion will be available for all park guests beginning on June 13 with purchases of $50 or more.

The offer is only valid in The BIG Shop at LEGOLAND California, while supplies last. I’m not sure if LEGOLAND Florida will have a similar promotion or not.

The LEGO Batman Movie Rumored 2018 Sets

The summer 2017 LEGO Batman Movie haven’t officially been released on Shop@Home yet but there’s already rumors of some 2018 TLBM sets coming from Delta Customs.

The first set is Batman Dune Buggy which includes minifigures of Batman and Captain Boomerang. The other set is called Egghead’s Food Fight which has Egghead’s mech and also includes Condiment King. It’s interesting that LEGO may be releasing another wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets next year. There has already been talks of another minifigures series for the movie as well.

Note that the images used are not leaked images of the sets as they come from The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie book which I highly recommend as it does give a lot of behind-the-scenes things such as concept art, sketches, and builds. They also might not be the final versions of the rumored sets but at least we have an idea of what they could look like. Some more future sets may also be hidden in plain sight in this book.
