The LEGO Batman Movie Bricktober 2017 Set Revealed

The LEGO Batman Movie Bricktober 2017 (5004939)

Traditionally, Toys R Us has been releasing exclusive minifigure sets for their annual Bricktober celebration and it looks like we know what this year’s set will be. PromoBricks has found out that we will be getting one for The LEGO Batman Movie (5004939). There are four different minifigures included but the one that stands out for me is the Easter Bunny Batman which I’ve been waiting on for a while. As shown on the top of the box, this set is the second of four sets that will be available.

There’s no word yet on how to get it during Bricktober but usually it’s with a certain dollar amount purchase, most likely at $75 or more. If there are any left over from the promotional period, they are sold by themselves.

The LEGO Batman Movie More Rumored 2018 Sets

The LEGO Batman Movie Bat-Spaceshuttle

Sir von Lego over on Eurobricks has been busy giving tidbids of some rumored 2018 LEGO sets and this time, there are details for the third wave of The LEGO Batman Movie. I’ve already talked about two of the sets which are the Bat-Buggy and the Egghead Mech which you can check that out here. The other sets that Sir von Lego talked about are the Justice League Anniversary Party, Harley Quinn’s Attack, and the Bat-Spaceshuttle.

The Justice League Anniversary Party was shown in the movie when Batman and Robin went to the Fortress of Solitude where Superman is partying with the other Justice League members. It was mentioned that it will include Superman, Hawkman, El Dorado, and Wonder Dog. Will we also finally see a set featuring the Fortress of Solitude?

Harley Quinn’s Cannonball Attack is seen in The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie and it includes Harley, Batgirl, a driver, and another character.

Finally, we have a Bat-Spaceshuttle. This set was seen when Robin discovers Batman’s lair as seen in the image above. It includes three versions of Batman and two for Robin.

The LEGO Batman Movie The Ultimate Batmobile (70917) Amazon Sale

Amazon currently has The LEGO Batman Movie The Ultimate Batmobile (70917) on sale for 20% off. It is currently priced at $111.99 which is $28 off the retail price of $139.99.

The Ultimate Batmobile is, in my opinion, easily one of the best TLBM movie sets that has been released so far. The different builds that it includes are all unique so there’s something new with each vehicle. If you haven’t checked out my review of it, feel free to see my thoughts on it.

The LEGO Batman Movie Now Available on Blu-Ray

The LEGO Batman Movie Target Combo

The LEGO Batman Movie is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD. As I mentioned before in a previous post from a few months back, various retailer will have their own exclusives. Each of the Blu-Rays will have some special features including four new original animated shorts, four deleted scenes, and six featurettes.

Target (shown above) probably has the most attractive version as it includes the exclusive Batgirl (30612) minifigure polybag along with some TLBM postcards. Batgirl has a new head piece and is different from the ones in the current sets.

Walmart‘s version of the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital HD copy will include a lunchbag.
