LEGO Mixels Rokit (41527)

We finally get to see the official images for the Series 4 LEGO Mixels sets courtesy of German toy retailer Spielwaren-Bludau. Like with previous series, there will be 3 different groups: Orbitronz, Infernites, and Glowies. The Infernites are back in this wave with three more characters after seeing them for the first time when the LEGO Mixels theme launched earlier this year. We first saw a couple of the Series 4 LEGO Mixels during San Diego Comic Con 2014. Each character will retail for $4.99 each and will be available in February 2015.

The Natural History Museum Achieves 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

The Natural History Museum by tjspencer1 becomes the latest project to hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. There have been many modular builds on LEGO CUUSOO/Ideas but this project has the subject type that people could really get behind and it could be an official set if it passes the review stage. What’s cool about it is that it’s not based on any particular real-life museum so there’s no licensing issues (that I’m aware of) and it has a cool science background to it which LEGO does like to see judging from previous official LEGO CUUSOO/Ideas sets.

The Natural History Museum now joins the Avengers Helicarrier, the Labyrinth Marble Maze, the F7A, and The Goonies 30th Anniversary Inferno in the Third 2014 Review Stage.

The LEGO Movie 2 Will Feature More Female Characters

BBC is reporting that The LEGO Movie 2 will be featuring more female characters. According to Phil Lord and Christoper Miller during the interview, Miller stated: “I don’t want to give spoilers but there will be more female characters and more female stuff.”

Before we get into the whole gender issue thing again, for me it doesn’t really matter who’s featured more as long as there is a good balance between all the characters and how well the story comes out as a result. LEGO has been under some scrutiny the past couple of years regarding this issue but I feel the company has been handling it pretty well.

There’s not release date announced for The LEGO Movie 2 but it’s possible that it will be on May 25, 2018 since it was pushed back.

LEGO T-Shirt and Set Giveaway From Shirts.com

We haven’t run a contest here in a while but we’re happy to announce that we are starting one today in conjunction with Shirts.com and Fun.com and the winners can get some cool prizes. There will be three (3) prizes in total: two (2) t-shirt and one (1) LEGO set for a total of three (3) different winners!

Both t-shirts are from The LEGO Movie (see above and below; subject to change) and they are in kids sizes. If you are a younger child, ask your parents to enter for you.

The third winner will be getting the LEGO Star Wars Plo Koon Starfighter 8093 (subject to change). This set was first released back in 2010 and was retired in 2011 so it’s pretty hard to get it at a fairly decent price. We are giving it away for FREE so you don’t even have to pay anything for it. Cool huh?

To enter the contest, we’ll be using our trusty Rafflecopter app below. There are different ways you can enter including on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. Since we cannot ask you to Like our Facebook Page anymore on the app, we hope that you still give our page a Like after you visit the link to get an entry so you can stay up to date on the latest LEGO news that we bring everyday. Also try to give Shirts.com and Fun.com a Like on their pages as well since they are providing the cool prizes.
