During Philly Brick Fest, I had the privilege to meet a young man named Evan. He was part of the Make-A-Wish program and his wish was to attend Philly Brick Fest. The great staff at PBF made the wish come true for him. Christin took charge and made Evan and his family feel as welcomed as possible during all four days of the event. Evan joined in on many activities that were held including the Brick Fest Derby, the Collectible Minifigures Identification Game and PolyMOCs as well as hanging out at David Hall’s Minifigs4u booth.

At the end of the show, Chad had some wonderful surprises for Evan including a LEGO Storage Head filled with rare minifigure polybags such as the Chrome Darth Vader and White Boba Fett. That wasn’t all. Evan also received the LEGO CUUSOO NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover signed by Stephen Pakbaz.

Overall, the crew at PBF was honored to have Evan and his family attend the festivities and is happy to have made his wish come true. This shows that not only LEGO brings people happiness but also brings families together. Check out all the images of Evan’s time at Philly Brick Fest below.

After the record-breaking success of Philly Brick Fest this past weekend, fans who didn’t get a chance to go will have another opportunity in September. Tickets for the next event are now available on Living Social. Philly Brick Fest will again be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center and this deal gets you a single day ticket and BrickWarriors LEGO minifigure accessories.
