LEGOLAND California Star Wars Days 2014 Recap

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend Star Wars Days 2014 at LEGOLAND California. There were many activities held at the park such as the Droid Hunt, the Miniland Scavenger Hunt, and the Fan Gallery. I also ran into a couple of friends there which was cool. The Fan Gallery was ran by Ace over at FBTB and the MOCs were created by local AFOLs including members from LUGOLA and SandLUG. Other things that were cool at Star Wars Days was the replica of Luke’s Landspeeder. Check out all the images I took while I was there below.

LEGO Legends of Chima Cragger’s Fire Striker (70135)

Nagyzee on Eurobricks has found a couple more LEGO Legends of Chima summer sets that are store exclusives. Cragger’s Fire Striker (70135) has 3 minifigures including Cragger, Stealthor, and Vornon. The other set is Sir Fangar’s Ice Fortress (70147). This larger set has 5 minifigures: Sir Fangar, Strainor, Voom Voom, Gorzan, and Worriz.

The LEGO Movie: Everything is Awesome Edition Now on Amazon

Amazon now has the The LEGO Movie: Everything is Awesome Edition Blu-ray available for pre-order for $41.99 and it is eligible for Prime shipping. As you can see from the image above, there are 3 discs, a cool Emmet display case, and the exclusive prologue Vitruvius minifigure. The listing does have a pre-order price guarantee so if the price goes down anything between now and the day of the release, you will get the lowest price.

Update: There is a small price drop to $39.96 to the listing.

LEGO Star Wars Darth Revan is May the Fourth Promotion Minifigure

The Darth Revan (5002123) minifgure polybag that we reported on a few days ago will indeed be the FREE exclusive minifigure for the “May the Fourth” promotion. The offer will only be valid from May 3-5, while supplies last, and you will have to spend $75 or more on LEGO Star Wars products at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home.

The LEGO Movie Emmet’s Flying Car Building Event at Toys R Us Again

If you missed The LEGO Movie building event at Toys R Us stores back in February, then you’re in luck. They are having the same event on Saturday, April 12th from 12-2pm. The event will be building Emmet’s Car which is the same as before. Who doesn’t like free LEGO anyways but make sure you get there at least 30 minutes before the event starts because I guarantee there will be a line going for it.

LEGO Star Wars UCS Sandcrawler Listed on Shop@Home for May 3rd Release

The LEGO Star Wars UCS Sandcrawler (75059) has been listed on Shop@Home for a May 3rd release, just in time for the “May the Fourth” promotion. The set was officially announced earlier this month and it will have 3296 pieces and retail for $299.99. There’s no word yet on what the exclusive minifigure for the promo but the TC-4 or the Darth Revan minifigures have been rumored to be the front runners. We’ll let you know as soon as details become available.

LEGO Friends Jungle Tree House (41059) Revealed

Nagyzee on Eurobricks has revealed the final set for the LEGO Friends summer wave, the Jungle Tree House (41059). There’s no details of the set but it does show it has Mia as the minidoll and four animals included. Check out the details of the other Jungle Friends sets in our previous post.
