LEGO Minions: The Rise of Gru Finally Gets Release Date

It looks like we finally have the release dates for the three LEGO Minions: The Rise of Gru sets that we thought was going to release last year. LEGO has listed the release dates for these sets for April 26. We aren’t exactly sure why LEGO decided to release two sets last year and not the rest of them at the same time. The movie has recently been pushed back to July 1, 2022.

New LEGO DC Batman Sets Found at Vietnamese Retailer

Vietnamese retailer Mykingdom has posted product listings for two new LEGO DC Comics Batman sets. These sets include the Batman vs: The Joker: Batmobile Chase (76180) and Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile (76188). The first set is a 4+ set that includes minifigures of Batman, Batgirl, and The Joker and a couple of scaled down vehicles. It retails for 929,000 VNĐ.

The other set is one that fans could be more interested in which is the Classic Batmobile from 1966. It looks to be an updated version of the one from the Classic TV Series Batcave (76052) and it includes minifigures of The Joker and Batman in their classic outfits. This set is nice if you didn’t want to buy the Batcave or you got into LEGO in recent years. It is listed at 1,049.000 VNĐ.

LEGO Ideas Tutankhamun Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Tutankhamun by Swan Dutchman is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build contains about 730 pieces and it features a bust of the Mask of Tutankhamun that is an iconic image in history books.

LEGO Ideas Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs project by Hanwasyellowfirst is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is an update to the original project that also hit 10k back in 2019 but didn’t pass the review stage. The house has been given a color update along with some structural changes. It also proposes minifigures of Snow White, Evil Witch, Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey.

Comic Con Special Edition Announced for Thanksgiving Weekend 2021

San Diego Comic Con has announced the dates for the previously reported smaller November convention. Comic Con Special Edition will be held as a three day event over Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-28. If it is safe enough to happen, it’ll be the first convention that Comic Con has produced since 2019 due to COVID-19. Pricing and attendance capacity is still unknown at this time but that’ll be announced in due time. We’ll see if LEGO will be doing anything or has any releases/announcements planned for the event.

BrickLink Survey for Chance to Win Antique Fire Engine

BrickLink is giving you a chance to win 1 of 10 Antique Fire Engine sets from the AFOL Designer Program just by doing a survey.
