The LEGO Group Ranks First for Global Corporate Responsibility

Reputation Institute has released their rankings for global corporate responsibility and The LEGO Group has been rank first on the list. It was stated in the press release that LEGO was rated the highest when it came to being fair in business, ethical, and being open and transparent. More than half of consumers said they would buy LEGO products which is 13.7% higher than the RepTrak 100 average. This ranking is on top of their second place finish on the 2019 Global RepTrak 100 for being the most highly regarded company in the world.

Global study puts the LEGO Group in first place on Corporate Responsibility

The study, conducted by Reputation Institute, a global technology-driven provider of reputation measurement and management services, calibrated the perceptions of more than 140 companies on the merits of CR. CR RepTrak measures perceptions of Citizenship, Governance and Workplace, and provides a means of assessing a company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) credentials. The study is based on more than 230,000 individual ratings from the informed general public across 15 leading economies.

“The LEGO Group is a great example of a company that is committed to delivering on corporate responsibility and realizing strong business results by doing the right thing,” said Kasper Nielsen, Chief Strategy Officer at Reputation Institute. “The core strength in corporate responsibility translates into 57% of consumers saying they would definitely buy The LEGO Group’s products — which is a net 13.7 percentage points higher than the CR RepTrak 100 average.”

LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630) Promotion Now Live

LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630)

The promotion for the LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630) is now live on LEGO Shop@Home. From now until September 28, you can get it for free with purchases of $100 or more, while supplies last. There are plenty of new sets that are available right now that makes it easy to qualify for it.

Make tidying up fun with this red and blue LEGO® Storage Bucket. Place toys, books or games in the spacious main compartment and use the four side pockets for smaller items like pens, pencils, tools and LEGO building instructions. Carry it around with the durable handles, and when you aren’t using it, collapse the bucket flat for easy packing or storage. It features durable 600D RPET polyester fabric made from recycled beverage bottles and each bucket saves approximately five plastic bottles from landfill.

Subscribe to LEGO Texts for Free Promo Code

LEGO has a new promotion running on Shop@Home for a new texting system they are trying out. If you subscribe for LEGO text messages, you can get a promo code for a free LEGO Star Wars Mini BB-8 (40228) with purchases of $60 or more. Note that the BB-8 is the same one from last year’s May the 4th promotion. I’m not sure if they will be doing more promos using texts but I guess it doesn’t hurt to sign up. Message and data rates may apply.

LEGO Toys R Us Bricktober 2019 Sets Revealed

Although there are no more Toys R Us stores in the US (not talking about the new ones), LEGO is still doing the popular Bricktober sets and the 2019 lineup has been revealed over on Brickfinder. There are four to collect and they feature miniature Asian scenes. They are also able to connect together using pins on the sides. These will be available in Hong Kong starting next week. I’m not sure if TRU Canada will be having these or not. Obviously, we here in the US will need to purchase them on the secondary market or have connections overseas.

LEGO Seasonal Limited Edition Christmas Tree (40338) Revealed

There are now official images of one of the limited edition LEGO Seasonal gift with purchase sets that will be available this holiday season with the Christmas Tree (40338). The Christmas Tree (40338) has 392 pieces but that is all the details that are known at this time. The tree is probably the best looking one so far and it even includes a train and a skirt at the base.
