It’s December and that means we’ll be doing our annual LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75056) reveals. I’ve had this set since August or September but now we can crack this bad boy open. I know there’s some people/sites who complain that the Advent Calendars are boring but there are more people who enjoy seeing them so these upcoming posts are for them. We’ll be doing the reveals later in the day so people can open theirs too before we spoil the surprise inside.

The LEGO Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar consists of 274 pieces and retails for $39.99. They’ve been sold out for a while now but you may get lucky and find it at retail price at some retailers.

LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu 2015 Sneak Peek

There’s a new sneak peak video uploaded by The Fold for the upcoming season of LEGO Ninjago in 2015. The minute video shows Kai fighting against a new character named Hanlan who can turn himself into metal. Hanlan will be included one of next year’s set in the Dojo Showdown (70756). It’s possible that Kai is just training against Hanlan since the other ninjas aren’t really helping.

Also 10 seconds in the video, there is a hooded person wearing orange in the background. It’s possible that it could be Skylor who is a new ninja that will be appearing next season as well as in the Condrai Copter Attack (70746).

LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu will returning to Cartoon Network sometime in 2015.

New DLC Packs Announced for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has announced two new DLC packs that will be available in early 2015. The first one is called the Bizarro World Pack which will be part of the Season Pass. Some of the characters in this DLC will include Bizarro as well as Bizarra. This will be the fourth DLC for the game with the Arrow still up in the air. The characters included in this pack are Bizarro and Bizarra. Hopefully, there are more Bizarro World characters like in the upcoming original movie LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs Bizarro League.

The other DLC pack for LEGO Batman 3 is called the Heroines & Villainesses Pack and you can actually download this one for FREE next year. Some of the characters included will be the Starfire and the highly requested Teen Titan Raven.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Age of Ultron 2015 Sets on Amazon Italy

Brick Heroes has some information of the 2015 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Age of Ultron sets. Amazon Italy has posted the set names as well as the piece counts for a few of them except for set 76041 and the Avengers Helicarrier. They also list the sets being available on March 1, 2015. Expect to see the images of the Avengers: Age of Ultron sets early next year.

LEGO Shop@Home currently has an unannounced FREE LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes Jor-El Minifigure Polybag (5001623) with any LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes purchase. It doesn’t matter what item it is as long at it’s DC. Even the keychains qualify for the promotion so if you missed out on the Jor-El polybag last year, you have another chance to get it. ~~There’s no word on when the promotion ends but get it while you can.~~ The promotion ends on December 31, 2014.

Brickrock Moab 2015 Wall Calendar by Clankwerks

Today, we have rather interesting review. It’s not an official LEGO product but it does contain LEGO MOCs. Andrew Payne, aka Clankwerks, is into LEGO products as well as the outdoors so why not combine the two. He has created a Brickrock Moab 2015 Wall Calendar that features some of his MOCs in the wild in Moab, Utah. This project was a year long one from designing and building the vehicles to taking them out to various locations such as the Slickrock Trail and the Delicate Arch. Some of the MOCs include Jeeps, UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles), Unimog campers, and Volkswagen Westfalia Campers.

The calendar itself is made from glossy paper and is filled with a number of holidays and events that you may or may not heard of like National Go Barefoot Day and National Tortilla Chip Day. It even has the founder of The LEGO Group Ole Kirk Christiansen’s birthday on there which makes a great trivia question for LEGO fans.

As a photography enthusiast, the details in the photos are very nice from the coloring to the depth of field of the MOCs to the background.
