
One of the biggest news in a long time which came out of left field was announced earlier today as it was reported that The LEGO Group has officially acquired BrickLink. If you’re not familiar with BrickLink, it is an online marketplace for LEGO prodcuts that was created by Dan Jezek in 2000 and later acquired by Nexon back in 2013. It is most known as a marketplace to purchase individual LEGO elements in bulk quantites. There’s lots of implications as a result of LEGO acquiring BrickLink but we will see what happens in a few months. The deal should be closed by the end of the year.
