The League of Legends of LEGO – The Raid on Baron Nashor by Addam has achieved the 10000 supporters needed to qualify for the summer review. The project was getting down to the wire because the deadline to qualify was June 3rd but supporters of it rallied and it hit it’s goal. If you’ve ever played League of Legends before, you’ll probably recognize Baron Nashor and this project captures the essence of it including the champions. The Raid on Baron Nashor joins the Mini Shop Series and the Batmobile Tumbler Minifig Scale as the sets that will be reviewed this summer and could potentially be a future LEGO set. Congratulations to Addam for this achievement!

If you watched the new LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles animated series tonight, you would’ve seen a commercial for the Legends of Chima tv show and it’s return in July. Cartoon Network is promoting it to be a new series when it “premieres” again. If you remember back in January, Cartoon Network showed the first couple of episodes and came back with another episode in March. After those episodes aired, there was absolutely no news about the show after that, until today. My guess is that the show will start again in July with the very first episode and will continue to have weekly episodes thereafter. The timing of the return of the Legends of Chima is about perfect since that will be around the time that the Summer wave sets will be releasing. Are you excited to see the Legends of Chima show back on your tv screen?

The time is here! The LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles animated show is set to premiere tonight with a special event on Cartoon Network at 8/7c. From the trailer below, JEK-14 will be “the newest villain in the LEGO Star Wars saga.” LEGO has been increasing the promotion of the animated show the past few weeks with the promo set as well as the life-sized X-wing Starfighter. Like with other LEGO shows, you’ll have action as well as some humor thrown in for some of the characters. How excited are you in The Yoda Chronicles and seeing how bad JEK-14 will turn out?
