LEGO Wizarding World Minisite Teaser

LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter

The LEGO Wizarding World minisite is now somewhat live with a teaser image of the Hogwarts Castle in the background. As we know by now, the LEGO Wizarding World theme, coming this August, will revolve around the whole Harry Potter universe which includes the orginal franchise as well as Fantastic Beasts.

We already know about two sets that will be released with the Hogwarts Great Hall (75954) and Grindelwald’s Escape. In addition, there should be more sets coming as well as a Collectible Minifigures series as some BrickHeadz as well. Stay tuned as we head into the summer where we should get more reveals, most likely at San Diego Comic Con. Thanks to anonymous who messaged this in.

LEGO BrickHeadz Go Brick Me (41597) Review

LEGO BrickHeadz Go Brick Me (41597)

Ever since LEGO revealed the next iteration of the BrickHeadz line with Go Brick Me (41597), LEGO fans may think differently of this set even if they haven’t picked up a single BrickHeadz before. The idea of this set is that you are able to customize the BrickHeadz to your liking whether it be of yourself or pretty much anybody else. It has a generous 708 pieces and retails for $29.99 which is a great deal even if you do not intend to build a single BrickHeadz out of this set.

There are are seven different bags along with the instruction booklet and a small sticker sheet. One of the bags is numbered which is used to build the blank BrickHeadz, aka Nonnie, which is used as a template.

The other bags have parts that are used to create your own unique BrickHeadz character. The one with the tan, brown, and dark orange bricks are used for BrickHeadz’ skin color while the colorful bag are used for building the torsos and legs. The parts in the other bags are separated into yellow, orange, brown, and black are used for the head and hair.

The sticker sheet has a number of transparent decals that you can add on to the BrickHeadz for even more detailing. I especially like the Blacktron one as that particular one could be very popular among fans.

LEGO BrickHeadz BTTF Marty McFly & Doc Brown (41611) Found at Target

To confirm some of the rumors of some upcoming LEGO BrickHeadz for 2018, Brickset has found images of the Back to the Future Marty McFly & Doc Brown (41611) set from Target. Apparantly they are already on the sales floor and available to purchase. I assume the set will retail for $19.99 and is slated for a May release. LEGO has been stepping it up with the 2018 BrickHeadz and this set isn’t an exception.

LEGO The Incredibles Video Game Edna Polybag GameStop Pre-Order

LEGO The Incredibles Video Game

I’ve just received an email from GameStop which reveals the LEGO The Incredibles Video Game pre-order and it looks like the Edna minifigure will be exclusive to them for now. As you can see in the image above, the Edna polybag is free while supplies last. Note that this is the only way to get the Edna minifigure as she does not appear in any of the LEGO Juniors sets or you can buy her directly from the secondary market. The Incredibles Video Game will be available starting on June 15.

LEGO Star Wars May the 4th BB-8 Promotion Rumor

We’re already a few days into April but you may have noticed that there’s no May 2018 LEGO Store Calendar that I usually report on at the beginning of the month. That’s because LEGO is keeping it under wraps for now for surprise promotions for the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th event however there are already rumors of what one of the promotions will be. Word has it that BB-8 may be the polybag that will be given out as a gift with purchase and the size would be similar to R2-D2 (30611) from last year. The build would be similar to the BB-8 from the Bricktober 2017 event last year but with printed parts. Stay tuned as we get closer to May for any reveals.
