New LEGO Scooby-Doo Villains Unmasked Image

There hasn’t been much news about the LEGO Scooby-Doo sets since the toy fairs from earlier this year but Just2Good on Eurobricks has found a never-seen before image of some of the villains unmasked from the Mystery Mansion (75904) set. This particular set features three villains: the Black Knight, Vampire, and a Ghost. As you can see, the Black Knight and the Ghost has head printing similar to the older Star Wars Stormtroopers with a black head piece and just some face printing. From the looks of it, the Vampire will have a double-sided head in a similar style but it’ll be white instead of black.

If you watched the older Scooby-Doo cartoons, you’ll know that the Black Knight is actually Mr. Wickles and from the image above, you can see the minifigure wearing round glasses just like him. It’s cool to see the sets pay homage to some of the characters from the older cartoon series.

Mummy Museum Mystery (75900) – $14.99
Mystery Plane Adventures (75901) – $19.99
The Mystery Machine (75902) – $29.99
Haunted Lighthouse (75903) – $49.99
Mystery Mansion (75904) – $89.99

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom Announced

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom

Today Warner Bros Home Entertainment announced the latest LEGO DC Comic Super Heroes feature film, Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom!
. The Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital HD Combo pack will be available on August 25.

Mark Hamill will be doing some voices in the movie including Trickster and Sinestro while Troy Baker will again be voicing Batman.

As we know by now, these LEGO animated movies often will come with an exclusive minifigure and I’m 99.9% sure that the Trickser minifigure we saw last year will be included in the combo pack. Check out the full synopsis below as well as the trailer for Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom.

Update: The LEGO Trickster exclusive minifigure has been confirmed to be included with the movie.

“Crime is on the run as the newly formed Justice League keeps Metropolis safe and this makes evil genius Lex Luthor very unhappy. Together with Black Manta, Sinestro and a gang of ruthless recruits, Lex builds his own league and declares them the Legion of Doom. With this super powered team of terror and a plan to attack the top-secret government site, Area 52, can Lex finally be on the verge of victory? Sound the alarm and get ready for the bricks to fly when Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League face off against the world’s greatest Super-Villains! It’s the next all-new original movie from LEGO® and DC Comics.”

LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree Polybag (30286) Found

LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree (30286)

Technically it’s not even summer yet but there’s already an image of one of this year’s LEGO Christmas polybags courtesy of Brickset and that is the LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree (30286). It seems to be an annual tradition that LEGO puts out a Christmas tree during the winter season. It doesn’t look that spectacular with some slight differences to previous years trees but polybag collectors will most likely want this one too.

LEGO City Space Starter Set (60077) Review

In my second review of the Summer 2015 wave of LEGO City sets, I have the LEGO City Space Starter Set (60077)icon. LEGO has been pushing these Starter Sets in this year’s LEGO City sets which includes a couple of small builds to help you start your City. The Space Starter Set isn’t an exception with its 107 pieces and coming in at a typical $9.99 price point. Just a note, this set is the largest, in terms of piece count, of all the smaller City Starter Sets. The contents of the box includes two un-numbered bags and one instruction booklet.

Anaheim Ducks Frederik Andersen LEGO Goalie Mask

I’m not sure how many of you readers are hockey fans but the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs is well underway and the Anaheim Ducks are getting more exposure as they are in the Western Conference Finals. Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen who is a native of Denmark, which is also the home of The LEGO Group, debuted his LEGO-designed mask at the beginning of the season but people can now see more of his mask since his team is shown more in prime time and not just mostly on the west coast. NBC even did a close up look on it during the game while they were talking about Andersen. The mask was designed by DaveArt and it shows off a minifigure in a Ducks jersey building a brick wall in front of the goal. It’s cool to see a player represent something from his home country which happened to be our favorite hobby in LEGO.

Thanks to Aaron for emailing in about it. Unfortunately, my LA Kings didn’t even make the playoffs as they just came up short so that’s a bummer. I won’t jump on any bandwagons and I’ll just wait for the Kings to come back next year.
