October 5, 2014 /

LEGO Toys R Us Bricktober 2014

Bricktober 2014 officially starts today at Toys R Us stores. For purchases of $75 or more each week of October, you can get a free LEGO mini modular set and this week you can get the Theater (40180). The Theater is available until Saturday, October 11.

Before we mentioned that you can just purchase the sets themselves but it seems that TRU has taken that option away.

Week 2: Pizza Place (40181) – October 12-18
Week 3: Fire Station (40182) – October 19-25
Week 4: Town Hall (40183) – October 26-November 1

LEGO November 2014 Store Calendar Promos & Events

September 26, 2014 /

LEGO November 2014 Store Calendar

The November 2014 LEGO Store Calendar is now available and we can talk about the promotions that will be happening during the month.

First is a FREE exclusive 2015 LEGO Wall Calendar with purchases of $75 or more. The cover of the calendar features the LEGO Employee minifigure as well as various ones from the Collectible Minifigures line. Inside the calendar also includes exclusive offers. The 2015 LEGO Wall Calendar will be offered from November 1st until the end of the year, while supplies last.

Another promotion is the second FREE exclusive Holiday Set with purchases of of $99 or more. We already know that it will be a skating scene but there’s still no images of it yet. This offer will only be valid from November 28 – December 1 which is during “Brick Friday”, LEGO’s version of Black Friday weekend.

On November 21, LEGO will be revealing the next exclusive set. I’m going to venture a guess that it will be the LEGO Star Wars UCS Slave I (76060).

If you’re a LEGO VIP member, visit your local LEGO Store on November 22 for special holiday offers.

It is not listed on the calendar but there will be a Monthly Mini Build event on November 4. The build for this month is a Rocket (40104) with a launching pad.

The new Christmas LEGO Seasonal sets will also be available during November like the Santa Set (850939) and the different baubles. Also, if you’re planning on getting any of the LEGO 2014 Advent … Continue

LEGO Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (10220) Promotion with Freebies

September 16, 2014 /

The promotions for the LEGO Classic Spaceman Minifigure (5002812) and the Legends of Chima Worriz’ Fire Bike were supposed to end on midnight Sunday, September 14 on Shop@Home but it appears that both promotions are still going on. It seems like LEGO still has some stock left over for September’s promotions because people could be holding off on their purchases and waiting for next month’s double VIP points.

In addition, Shop@Home has an unannounced promotion for the LEGO Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (10220). When the set is in your cart, you also get the LEGO Creator Mini Volkswagen TI Camper Van (40079) polybag for free so in essence, you will be getting all three promotions for the price of one. Also, there are rumors that the T1 Camper Van could be retired very soon so this may be your last chance to get a good deal for it.

Be sure you are a VIP member to get all three promos or else you’ll be missing the Classic Spaceman Minifigure set since that one is a VIP only promo. I’m not sure if this same offer works for the LEGO Stores so you may want to call to confirm.
