Yesterday I reported on the November 2017 LEGO Store Calendar and one of the main promotions for Black/Brick Friday is the Nutcracker (40254) with purchases of $99 or more. Traditionally, LEGO has been releasing GWP holiday sets and they are usually high quality and collectible such as last year’s Snowglobe (40223). LEGO has already released the instructions for the 230 piece set and it’s a fairly large build that you can place on your mantle.
LEGO has released the new November 2017 LEGO Store Calendar and we can now see some of the promotions for the holidays.
November 1-15: FREE 24-in-1 Holiday Countdown Set (40253) with a purchase of $99 or more, while supplies last. This is a different one than last year’s 40222 set.
November 7-8: VIP Monthly Mini Model Build is a Puppy.
November 18-19: VIPs get Double Points and special Brick Friday offers.
November 24: The LEGO Batman Movie The Joker Manor (70922) available for purchase.
November 24: Brick Friday doorbuster sale items in store and online.
November 24-27: Exclusive Brick Friday 2017 offers include:
– FREE Nutcracker with a purchse of $99 or more, while supplies last.
– FREE Canvas Tote Bag with a purchase of $199 or more.
– FREE Shipping on all Shop@Home orders.
– Sale on select items, while supplies last.
If you’re a fan of the 2017 LEGO Seasonal sets, you’re in luck. The last three holiday sets for the year are now available for purchase on Shop@Home as well as at LEGO Brand Stores. There are no promotions currently attached for these sets except for The LEGO Ninjago Movie Lloyd (30609) minifigure polybag with purchases of $50 or more.
If you remember from last year at the opening of the Leicester Square flagship LEGO Brand Store, there was an exclusive Lester minifigure that was given away that was limited to 275. Well it appears that Lester may not be that limited after all. There’s a new Lester (40308) polybag that can now be purchased at Leicester Square for £5.99 each. This is great for fans who weren’t able one via the scratch card raffle when the store opened but is somewhat of a burn for those who got the original one. This particular Lester minifigure also has a black umbrella which the original one didn’t have so technically the new one is exclusive as well. Is there anyone in London who is able to send me a couple?

The LEGO Group Releases 2017 Half Year Results, Profits Down – LEGO released their financial results for the first have of 2017 and revenue was down 5% compared to the same time last year. This also results in the company laying off about 1,400 employees.
LEGO Creator Palace Cinema (10232) Confirmed to be Retiring Soon – The LEGO Creator Palace Cinema (10232) will be retiring soon. There’s no set date for when the set is gone but get it while you still can.

After four long years of planning and construction, the LEGO House has officially opened in Billund but last week over 600 AFOLs had a chance to visit before the ceremonial opening yesterday. One of these AFOLs who was able to attend was Joshua Hanlon from Beyond the Brick and they have released a new video giving us a thorough tour of what to expect at the LEGO House.
