LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - Black Hand

In their latest announcement, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has revealed their latest playable character, the leader of the Black Lantern Corps, Black Hand. He is most well known in the Blackest Night storyline and recites one of DC’s most famous lines when he extracts “Batman’s” skull from his grave:

The Blackest Night falls from the skies,
The darkness grows as all light dies,
We crave your hearts and your demise,
By my black hand — The dead shall rise! – Blackest Night #0 (June 2009)

It’ll be intersting to see what kind of abilities Black Hand has in LEGO Batman 3.

LEGO DC Comics Variant Covers November Release Dates

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - Justice League #36/Aquaman #36

As we reported back in August, DC Comics will be releasing 22 LEGO variant comic book covers of their upcoming issues. These variants are to celebrate the release of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham in a couple of weeks. If you remember from last year, Marvel did something similar for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game.

We now have the release dates of each of the comics that will be available in November so if you’re a comic book fan, be on the look out for them. Check out all the cool-looking covers below. The above covers are Justice League #36 and Aquaman #36.

The Dark Knight Scarecrow Revealed for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - Scarecrow

I’m not sure if this is a LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham character reveal or not but to celebrate Halloween, they have posted an image of the Scarecrow. This version of the Scarecrow will be in the Dark Knight DLC Pack which will also be available on November 11th when LEGO Batman 3 is released.

This reveal is actually a slight surprise since we didn’t see him when images of some of the characters in the Season Pass DLC Packs were revealed back in September. Scarecrow was in all three movies in the Nolan Batman trilogy: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

Last Day for LEGO Double VIP Points

It’s midnight on the east coast and that means that there’s only one day left for Double VIP Points at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home. This is also the last day to get the free exclusive LEGO Creator Toy Workshop (40106) with purchases of $99 or more. Unfortunately, the Toy Workshop is already out of stock on S@H but the LEGO Stores may still have some left. You may want to call them and double check to make sure they have them to give out.

Lobo Revealed for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

A fan favorite DC character has been revealed as a playable character today for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Lobo. He is a motocycle-riding intergalactic bounty hunter from the planet Czarnia. He has been a part of many groups including L.E.G.I.O.N., the R.E.B.E.L.S., and Young Justice.

LEGO Star Wars AT-AT (75054) Sale on Amazon

Amazon has a pretty good deal for the fairly new LEGO Star Wars AT-AT (75054) for $89.91 which is more than $20 (18%) off the retail price of $109.99. The set is also eligible for free shipping with Amazon Prime. Christmas is coming real soon so this is a great set to get early at a very nice price as you probably won’t it this low again for a while when the deal expires.

Cheshire Revealed for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

As promised, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has revealed another character today on their Instagram page. She is Cheshire, aka Jade Nguyen, who is one of the most deadliest assassins and is a long time enemy of the Teen Titans. She specializes in hand-to-hand combat as well as her vast knowledge of poisons which she often applies to her nails.
