LEGO The Big Bang Theory SDCC 2017 Exclusive WB Bag

LEGO The Big Bang Theory SDCC 2017 Bag

Every year at San Diego Comic Con, there are exclusive collectible bags that Warner Bros. provides to attendees. The bags feature a property of WB and one of the more notable bags for this year is for The Big Bang Theory. As you can see above, the bag has an image of the box art for the LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) set from a few years ago. It’s not as flashy as some of the other SDCC 2017 WB bags but I’ll be trying my best to get this particular one.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Black Panther & Avengers: Infinity War Details

There are some more LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2018 news regarding some of the upcoming movie tie-in sets. According to Sir von Lego on Eurobricks, we will be getting two Black Panther sets and a whopping six for Avengers: Infinity War.

We’ve already seen a Black Panther minifigure from the Black Panther Pursuit (76047) from Civil War last year so hopefully we’ll see an updated outfit. We’ll also most likely see a Erik Killmonger minifigure and one for Ulysses Klaue as well.

As for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity War sets, I’m surprised there are that many that tie-in sets. Considering there are a plethora of characters in the movie, I’m sure they will be spread out into all the sets with hopefully no duplicates. Also, since there are six Infinity Gems/Stones, I’m hoping one is included in every set which makes sense.

What are you looking forward to seeing in the LEGO Black Panther and Infinity Wars sets? Let us know in the comments below.

LEGO Nexo Knights Rumored 2018 Sets

LEGO Nexo Knights

We’ve just passed the first half of the year and it looks like we’re starting to get details of what could be coming out for 2018. Sir von Lego over on Eurobricks has reported on some rumored 2018 LEGO Nexo Knights sets. Some may have thought the theme was going to end soon but it doesn’t seem like it now. Keep in mind that these sets aren’t confirmed yet but the OP is known to give correct information in the past.

Take a Trip Down Memory Lane in the LEGO Archive Vault

A few weeks ago, Josh Hanlon from Beyond the Brick was able to attend LEGO Fan Media Days and he has given LEGO fans a look at something that most of us probably won’t be able to see in real life, the LEGO Archive Vault, aka Memory Lane. It is located under the LEGO Idea House and it contains almost every single LEGO set that has been produced. Attendees of the LEGO Inside Tour are also able to check it out.

LEGO designers and other employees also go down to the Vault to do research or reminisce about their childhood. Since LEGO adds to the Vault every year, that means that they are running out of room and will soon have to move it to another location. You’ll notice that in the beginning of the film, Josh notes that there are already upcoming sets that haven’t been released yet that are already on the shelves which is blocked off.

If you have half a hour to spare, I highly recommend you taking a look at the video as there are lots of cool stuff that were shown off. Did you see sets that you have/had that were from your childhood?

LEGO Iconic Caveman & Cavewoman (5004936)

Iconic Caveman & Cavewoman (5004936)

Yesterday, I reported on the August 2017 LEGO Store Calendar and the main promotion of the month is the Iconic Caveman & Cavewoman (5004936) minifigures. It will be available August 10-31 with a purchase of $50 or more, while supplies last.

If you’ve collecting the Collectible Minifigures since the beginning, you’ll notice that the new minifigures look similar to the ones released previously. The Caveman was from Series 1 (8683) while the Cavewoman was from Series 5 (8805). The only difference with the new ones are the colors for the printing on the torsos, legs, and the hair pieces so this technically makes them exclusive to this set.

The packaging for the double minifigures has some designs for the rock home and the wooden door which opens to reveal the minifigures. The Caveman & Cavewoman is the third “Iconic” set that LEGO will be releasing with the first one being the Chicken Suit Guy in the Iconic Easter (5004468) and the other with the Gingerbread Man (5005156) from last year.
